Pero, por desgracia, su tiempo en Rumanía le ha dejado muchas cicatrices mentales y físicas. Nya sufrió un acoso severo por parte de otros perros con los que tuvo que compartir perrera, y se puede ver su cuerpo cubierto de cicatrices de batalla. Llegar al Reino Unido fue un gran riesgo para Nya, ya que no sabíamos cómo reaccionaría a la vida aquí. Sin embargo, también sabíamos que quedarse en Rumanía significaba que algún día sería atacada tan gravemente que no sobreviviría. Como temíamos, le costó adaptarse durante las primeras semanas. Solo quería escapar de todo y huir a la menor oportunidad, lo que la convertía en un gran riesgo de fuga. Esto ha disminuido considerablemente y en la actualidad ha empezado a relajarse mucho. A pesar de sus experiencias, adora a otros perros y se apoya en ellos para avanzar. Nya siempre tendrá dificultades, pues sus cicatrices mentales son profundas. Pero en los últimos meses ha progresado enormemente en su hogar de acogida. Ya no busca vías de escape. Le encanta pasar el día entero en el jardín o dormir en una cama acogedora. Por fin se siente segura y está lista para encontrar su hogar definitivo. Nya siempre será nerviosa y se sentirá abrumada por las cosas nuevas, pero con el amor y la paciencia adecuados será una mascota muy leal y cariñosa. Adora el contacto humano y busca activamente el afecto. Nya odia sentirse atrapada, así que no hemos podido enseñarle a usar la jaula, ya que se angustia mucho y se lastima. Sin embargo, duerme profundamente toda la noche en una cama en la cocina. Es limpia en casa y camina bien con correa. No nos hemos alejado mucho de casa para no abrumar a Nya. Así que los paseos deberán introducirse lenta y gradualmente, solo una vez a la semana al principio, y aumentarlos poco a poco si puede tolerarlo. Puede que sea una de esas perras que nunca se acostumbran a los paseos y que simplemente disfruta de la comodidad de su lugar seguro en casa. Quien adopte a Nya tendrá mucha suerte. Es una perra dulce y leal que necesita una familia llena de amor y mucha paciencia. Pero somos conscientes de que es una perra que pasará desapercibida por su miedo al mundo. Aun así, esperamos que algún día encuentre a su persona. MI HOGAR IDEAL Nya necesita un jardín seguro con una valla de 6 pies como mínimo y sin huecos en absoluto. Como con todos los perros, será necesario un entrenamiento continuo. Nya necesita vivir con al menos un perro residente. Sin gatos ni niños, por favor. Nuestro equipo leerá la solicitud y se asegurará de que sea la pareja adecuada para el perro solicitado. 2 Organizaremos una visita a domicilio Si tú y los perros parecen encajar bien, te llamaremos para hablar más a fondo, organizar un encuentro con el perro y concertar una visita física a tu casa. 3 Emparejamiento con tu perro Una vez que acordemos juntos que este es el perro adecuado para ti, organizaremos su traslado a tu hogar. Según si proviene de una perrera o de un hogar de acogida, el proceso puede variar. 4 Apoyo continuo Nos encanta mantenernos en contacto con todos y esperamos que te pongas en contacto con nosotros si tienes alguna preocupación o pregunta. También trabajamos con varios entrenadores y especialistas en comportamiento locales que pueden brindar apoyo. Could you be my perfect match? Hello! My name is I can live with Dogs Cats Children MY story Nya is such a beautiful soul. But unfortunately her time in Romania has left her with many mental and physical scars. Nya was badly bullied by other dogs she had to kennel with and you can see her body in covered in the battle scares. Coming to the UK was a big risk for Nya as we didn't know how she would react to life in the UK. However we also knew to stay in Romania would mean one day she would be attacked so badly she wouldn't survive it. As we feared, she struggled in the first few weeks. She just wanted to escape it all and run away at every opportunity making her a huge flight risk. This has decreased significantly and she has started to relax alot nowadays.Despite her experiences she adores other dogs and leans on them to help her progress. Nya will always struggle as her mental scars run deep. But the last few months she has made huge progress in her foster home. She no longer looks for escape routes. She loves spending all day in the garden or asleep on a cosy bed. She finally feels safe and is ready to find her forever home. Nya will always be jumpy and find new things overwhelming but with the right love and patience she will make the most loyal and loving pet. She adores human touch and actively seeks out affection Nya hates to feel trapped so we have not been able to crate train her as she just gets very distressed and injures herself. But she sleeps soundly all night on a bed in the kitchen. She is house clean and walks well on a lead. We have not travelled far from the home as not to overwhelm Nya. So walks will need to be slowly and steadily introduced, just once a week to start with and slowly build up if she can tolerate it. She may be one who simply never adjusts to walks and just enjoys the comfort of her safe place at home. Anyone that adopts Nya will be extremely lucky. She is a sweet and loyal dog who needs a family with tonnes of love and lots of patience. But we are conscious she is a dog who will be so overlooked for her fear of the world. Despite this we hope her person finds her one day. MY PERFECT HOME Nya needs a secure garden with 6ft fencing minimum and no gaps at all.As with all dogs on going training will be needed.Nya needs to live with atleast one resident dog. No cats or Children please. OUR 1 Fill in application form Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for. 2 We will arrange a home check If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home. 3 Matched with your dog Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary. 4 Ongoing Support We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions.
