Este dulce chico tomó su oportunidad para una vida mejor cuando se acercó a su ahora rescatador en una playa mientras ella estaba de vacaciones. A pesar de estar débil, desnutrido y con una grave condición de piel que no había recibido tratamiento, Obi sabía que era su momento y no lo dejó pasar. Lo siguió persistentemente, como si pidiera ayuda de la única forma que conocía. Esa valiente decisión cambió su vida. Después de pasar tiempo en un rescatista marroquí, JFD fue solicitado para tomar a Obi en nuestro cuidado, y nos encantó decir que sí. Desde ese momento, Obi ha demostrado cuán especial es: viajando como un diamante absoluto y demostrándose a sí mismo ser un personaje. Obi tiene la personalidad más encantadora y divertida. Cuando está emocionado, no puede evitar golpear sus pies, una pequeña danza feliz que refleja perfectamente su espíritu alegre. Adora profundamente la interacción humana y absorberá cada parte de amor que estés dispuesto a darle. Obi sería adecuado como único perro o viviendo con una perra hembra. Obi (short for Obsidian 🖤) is from Morocco with a story that stays with you. This sweet boy took his chance at a better life when he approached his now-rescuer on a beach while she was on holiday. Despite being weak, malnourished and having a terrible skin condition that was left untreated, Obi knew this was his moment – and he refused to let it pass. He followed her persistently, as if asking for help in the only way he knew how. That brave decision changed his life. After spending time in a Moroccan rescue, JFD were asked to take Obi into our care, and we were delighted to say yes. From that moment on, Obi has shown just how special he is – travelling like an absolute diamond and proving himself to be a character. Obi has the most endearing, funny personality. When he’s excited, he can’t help but tip-tap his feet, a little happy dance that perfectly reflects his joyful spirit. He absolutely adores human interaction and will soak up every bit of love you’re willing to give. Obi would be best suited as an only dog or living with a female dog. He previously lived successfully in a rescue environment with four female dogs, and with correct introductions and continued training, we believe he could enjoy calm interactions with other dogs while out on walks. He is looking for an adopter who understands that rescue dogs need patience, time, and commitment to learn the world around them that they haven’t experienced yet – and who is excited by the journey as much as the destination.
