Raza: Belgian Malinois/Deerhound Lurcher Edad: 8 meses aproximadamente Odin es un joven muy llamativo que llegó a nosotros para rehacer su vida, sin culpa propia, tristemente un niño con necesidades especiales en el hogar no pudo manejar los movimientos ruidosos de Odin. Es aún un joven y es una mezcla de razas de alta energía, necesita mucha estimulación para evitar que se sienta frustrado y aburrido. Es super amigable, con un carácter divertido. Le encantan las personas y ha convivido con niños mayores de 6 años (aunque sería beneficioso que cualquier niño en el hogar estuviera familiarizado con perros grandes). Sería una gran adición a la familia, pero cualquier familia que lo adopte necesitaría tener tiempo y conocimiento sobre su raza. Es un perrito brillante, su madre era un Belgian Malinois, mientras que su padre era un Deerhound Lurcher, por lo tanto será muy entrenable y posiblemente haría muy bien en algún tipo de deporte canino (Cani-cross, etc). Odin está acostumbrado a otros perros, se informó que era amigable cuando salía a caminar y hasta saltaba la valla del jardín para jugar con los perros de los vecinos. Mientras estuvo en nuestro cuidado, hemos notado que tiende a ladrar alrededor de otros perros, pero no es agresivo, sin embargo algunos perros pueden encontrar el ladrido un poco desagradable. No ha sido probado con gatos y en el pasado persiguió ganado/venados. A Odin le encanta salir a pasear y especialmente le encanta el tiempo sin correa en nuestros recintos de ejercicio. Es buen con sus juguetes y bastante bien educado, sin embargo sube a las personas. Es un cachorro típico. Puede saltar alto, por lo tanto un jardín seguro en su nuevo hogar sería fundamental.

Breed: Belgian Malinois/Deerhound Lurcher Age: 8 Months Approx Odin is a very striking young lad who came to us for rehoming through no fault of his own, sadly a SEN child in the home couldn’t cope with Odins boisterous antics. He only a youngster and is a mix of high energy breeds – he needs a lot of stimulation to prevent him from coming frustrated and bored. He’s super friendly, with a goofy character! He loves people, and has lived with children aged 6yrs and over (although it would be beneficial if any children in the home were familiar with larger dogs). He would be a brilliant addition to the family – but any family who takes him on would need to have the time and knowledge for his breed. He’s a bright spark – his Mum was a Belgian Malinois, whilst his Dad was a Deerhound Lurcher – so he will be very trainable and would possibly do great in some kind of doggy sport (Cani-cross etc). Odin has been used to other dogs, he was reported to be friendly when on walks and would even jump over the garden fence to go and play with the neighbours dogs too! Whilst in our care, we have noticed that he seems to be vocal around the other dogs, but not aggressive – however some dogs will find the barking a little off putting. He’s not been cat tested, and has chased livestock/deer in the past. Odin loves getting out for his walks and particularly loves his off lead play time in our exercise compounds! He’s great with his toys, and quite well mannered – however he does jump up. He’s a typical big puppy! He can jump high, so a secure garden in his new home would be a must!
