Probably in his life before arriving at the dog shelter he was not used to using a leash, so he tends to zigzag and pull, although with a bit of physical strength he is well manageable; he tends to be bothered by the use of a harness, for this reason we currently manage him with a collar, then later we will see if it will be possible to also introduce the use of the harness. Although he is no longer a young dog, it seems he has had few experiences, so he needs to gradually get to know the world. Ideal adoption: Better adoption placement with people who have experience with dogs and who are willing to dedicate time to him. Not suitable with children. Adoption placement should be evaluated in the presence of another well-balanced dog, with good management of spaces and resources, a character compatibility test must be carried out at our dog shelter in the presence of an operator. Better in a house where there is also a small piece of garden, although it is required that he lives in the house with the family and that he is guaranteed daily walks necessary for his psychophysical well-being. Generalità: Microchippato e vaccinato, pastore tedesco dal tipico pelo nero focato Carattere: Patollo è un cane non troppo invadente nei confronti delle persone. Probabilmente nella sua vita prima di arrivare in canile era poco abituato all’utilizzo del guinzaglio infatti va un po’ a zig-zag e tira, anche se con un po’ di forza fisica è ben gestibile; tende ad essere infastidito dall’uso della pettorina, proprio per questo per ora lo gestiamo con il collare, poi più avanti vedremo se si riuscirà ad inserire anche l’uso della pettorina. Nonostante non sia più un giovincello, sembra aver fatto poche esperienze, per cui ha bisogno di conoscere gradualmente il mondo. Adozione ideale: Meglio l’affido con persone che abbiano già esperienza di cani e che abbiano voglia di dedicargli tempo. No con bambini. Da valutare l’affido in presenza di un altro cane bene equilibrato, con una buona gestione di spazi e risorse, viene richiesta la prova di compatibilità caratteriale da effettuarsi presso il nostro canile in presenza di un operatore. Meglio in una casa dove sia presente anche un pezzettino di giardino anche se viene richiesto che viva in casa in presenza della famiglia e che gli vengano garantite le dovute passeggiate giornaliere necessarie per il suo benessere psicofisico.
