Es muy amigable, pero se siente muy solitario en el refugio, por lo que se aferrará mucho a nosotros cuando nos visite. Le encanta dar paseos y camina muy bien en correa. Esperamos que se calme bastante en un buen hogar con enriquecimiento y ejercicio regular. Ralph fue encontrado abandonado como cachorro, junto con otro de nuestros perros, Bobbie. Fueron acogidos temporalmente, pero lamentablemente no encontraron hogares, por lo que tuvieron que mudarse al refugio. Ahora ha estado en el refugio casi 2 años. Es demasiado largo. A veces reacciona cuando otro perro gruñe o ladra a él a través de la valla, sin embargo esto no indica que tenga problemas en un entorno normal y tranquilo. Anteriormente compartió un espacio con otro perro joven masculino. Comportamiento con gatos: No probado, probablemente riesgoso Comportamiento con niños: Ralph es bastante energético a veces. Solo ama a las personas, podría ser demasiado para niños pequeños debido a su tamaño y energía, sin embargo probablemente sea más relajado en un hogar. FACTSHEET: ALL ABOUT Ralph Pictures (click to enlarge previews) Would you like Ralph to take you for a walk? Ralph is longing for a home of his own, walks and petting, and just to have company. He is very friendly, but he gets very lonely in the shelter so will really cling to us when we visit. He loves going for a walk and walks really nicely on leash. We expect he will calm down a lot in a good home with regular enrichment and exercise. Ralph was found abandoned as a puppy, along with another of our dogs, Bobbie. They were fostered temporarily but unfortunately did not find homes, so had to move to the shelter. He has now been at the shelter for almost 2 years. Which is far too long. Sometimes he reacts when another dog is growling or barking at him through the fence, however this is no indication that he would have a problem in a normal and calm environment. He previously shared a space with another young male dog. Behaviour around cats:Not tested, probably risky Behaviour around kids:Ralph is quite energetic sometimes. He just loves people, he might be too much for small children with his size and energy, however he will probably be much more relaxed in a home.
