Riley es un perro dulce que estaba bastante preocupada cuando primero llegó al centro pero ahora ha formado un bonito vínculo con sus principales cuidadores. Puede ser desconfiada con las personas nuevas al conocerlas y idealmente su hogar tendrá muy pocos visitantes, o una habitación a la que Riley pueda ir cuando personas desconocidas llamen. Vive en un área tranquila y oculta del centro y es más feliz allí que teniendo a la gente pasar frente a su jaula. Riley necesitará ser presentada a todos los miembros de su nueva familia varias veces antes de irse a casa. Es una chica muy cariñosa y le encanta estar cerca de las personas y se hace mucho caso una vez que las conoce. Riley disfruta de sus paseos pero es fuerte en correa, está obteniendo buenos resultados con su entrenamiento pero necesitará un dueño físicamente seguro para manejar su fuerza en ciertos momentos. Riley le gusta saludar a otros perros y está contenta de que caminen con ella, pero les regañará si son demasiado ruidosos o le meten la cara. Ha tenido un amigo particular en el centro con quien puede jugar sin correa cómodamente, un gran paso para ella ya que antes no tenía mucha experiencia con otros perros. Riley está llena de diversión y tonterías y ama correr alrededor de nuestro establo de entrenamiento lanzando sus juguetes al aire. Riley busca un hogar sin otras mascotas ni niños e idealmente con pocos visitantes. Puede caminar con otros perros pero debido a sus necesidades en el hogar necesitará ser el único perro en el hogar. Preferiría que alguien esté con ella la mayor parte del día ya que no le gusta estar sola, pero su tiempo solo se puede aumentar gradualmente. Riley puede necesitar un recordatorio de entrenamiento para hacer sus necesidades y una valla segura es obligatoria ya que en el pasado ha saltado el límite. Necesitará estar cómoda con cada miembro de la familia antes de irse a casa.

Riley is a gentle dog who was rather worried when she first found herself at the centre but has now formed a lovely bond with her main handlers. She can be wary of new people when first meeting them and ideally her home will have very few visitors, or a room that Riley can go into when unknown people call. She lives in a quiet, off-view area of the centre and is happier here than having people walk past her kennel. Riley will need to be introduced to everyone in her new family a few times before going home. She is a very affectionate girl and loves to be close to people and made a fuss of once she knows them. Riley enjoys her walks but is strong on lead, she is doing well with her training but will need a physically confident owner to handle her strength at times. Riley likes to say hello to other dogs and is happy to have them walk with her, but she will tell them off if they’re too rowdy or in her face. She has had one particular pal at the centre that she would comfortably play off lead with, a huge step for her as she hadn’t had much experience of other dogs before coming into our care. Riley is full of fun and silliness and loves to race around our training barn flinging her toys in the air. Riley is looking for a home without other pets or children and ideally few visitors. She can walk with other dogs but due to her needs in the home she will need to be the only dog in the household. She would prefer someone to be at home with her most of the day as she doesn't like to be by herself, but her solo time can be built up gradually. Riley may need a house training refresher and a secure fence is a must as she has jumped the boundary in the past. She will need to be comfortable with every member of the household before going home.
