Scar is a handsome 3-year-old male cat with a still very reserved temperament. At the shelter, he prefers to observe his surroundings from a distance, often perched up high. He is wary and still doesn't let people approach him much, and will need time before he really lets his guard down. Scar is not an aggressive cat, though. He just needs to be "de-tensed": behind his fears is a gentle cat who still needs to learn that closeness with humans can be enjoyable. And we have already discovered one of the keys to gaining his trust: Scar is extremely food-motivated! Food is an excellent way to gradually create positive interaction with him and reduce the distance between them. He will also need access to the outdoors once he is perfectly accustomed to his new home. His ideal home: Patient and respectful adopters. A calm environment. No forced contact. Outdoor access after an adaptation period. And a few good things to help him understand that humans can actually be quite interesting!

Scar est un beau chat mâle de 3 ans au tempérament encore très réservé. Au refuge, il préfère pour le moment observer son petit monde à distance, souvent installé en hauteur. Méfiant, il se laisse encore peu approcher et aura besoin de temps avant de réellement baisser sa garde. Scar n'est pourtant pas un chat agressif. Il est surtout à « décoincer » : derrière ses craintes se cache un gentil chat qui doit encore apprendre que la proximité avec l'humain peut être agréable. Et nous avons déjà découvert l'une des clés pour gagner sa confiance : Scar est extrêmement gourmand ! La nourriture constitue un excellent moyen de créer progressivement une interaction positive avec lui et de réduire les distances. Il aura également besoin d'un accès extérieur une fois parfaitement habitué à son nouveau foyer. Son foyer idéal Des adoptants patients et respectueux. Un environnement calme. Aucun contact forcé. Un accès extérieur après une période d'adaptation. Et quelques bonnes choses pour l'aider à comprendre que les humains peuvent finalement être plutôt intéressants !
