Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled We do not know Scout’s history of being left home alone due to him being a stray. As a result, any home alone time will need to be built up from scratch, once he has had the chance to settle into his new environment. Do I have any medical conditions? Existing conditions Scout has current medical conditions, namely Dental work, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. This will be performed onsite at Woodgreen by our Veterinary Surgery team, with costs covered by Woodgreen. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Scout is still learning to respect boundaries. He can be over excited and appear intense when greeting other dogs, but is starting to understand when to move away and give them space. Scout does walk nicely with other dogs but can get frustrated if they are faster than him! Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Any children in Scout’s new home would need to be aged 13 plus, because Scout is full of energy and this can make him a bit bouncy. Once you are friends with Scout he is a lovely, affectionate boy who will want all the fuss you can give him! What type of environment would suit me? Scout will need a secure private garden with 6ft fencing, as he has been known to open doors. This will allow Scout to continue his toilet training; also giving him a safe space to sniff around and play with his toy of choice, balls. About Scout Scout is an active boy who loves to go exploring, nose first! Whether its people or dogs he always wants to introduce himself. Scout is very intelligent and has shown that he knows more tricks than most, picking up new talents really quickly including opening doors! He has shown a fondness for playing with a soft rubber rugby ball, but finds people a lot more interesting and they give him a fuss! Scout is a just a fun-loving boy looking for new people to love.
