Soy un chico greyhound alto con un gran corazón y una cola que tiene su propia mente. Cuando estoy feliz (que es bastante a menudo), mi cola empieza a hacer remolinos completos, ¡honestamente, parece que quiero despegar! Soy un chico muy cariñoso que ama estar alrededor de la gente. De hecho, podrías llamarme un poco mariposa social. Estoy siempre contento en darle la bienvenida a nuevos humanos y me gusta conocer a otros perros cuando estoy fuera. Aunque preferiría ser el único animal de compañía en el hogar para recibir todo el amor, sería muy feliz tener amigos caninos con los que pasear. Porque soy un greyhound, no puedo vivir con gatos o animales peludos pequeños, mis instintos de perro de caza podrían ganarle. Podría vivir felizmente con niños mayores de 11 años, especialmente si están listos para un amigo alto y bromista. Sin embargo, puedo tener visitas de niños menores de esa edad debido a mi naturaleza tranquila. En cuanto al ejercicio, soy más del tipo "lento y constante". Me gusta un paseo tranquilo en lugar de largos paseos energéticos. Honradamente, mi lugar favorito es acurrucado en el sofá. Adoro los abrazos y con gusto intentaré convencerte de que soy un perro de regazo. Tengo un lado travieso, soy un maestro de las robadas cuando se trata de zapatos, zapatillas y la ropa sucia, ¡no la destruiré aunque! Solo trato de ayudar 😂 Cuando me mude por primera vez, realmente apreciaría que alguien estuviera presente la mayor parte del tiempo mientras me adaptaba a mis nuevas condiciones. Una vez que me sienta seguro y cómodo, esto podría aumentar gradualmente hasta que me dejen solos durante unas horas. Un jardín seguro sería genial también, un lugar seguro donde pueda estirar mis largas piernas y disfrutar de un par de carreras ocasionales. I’m a tall greyhound boy with a big heart and a tail that has a mind of its own. When I’m happy (which is quite often!), my tail starts doing full windmills — honestly, it’s like I’m trying to take off! I’m a super affectionate lad who loves being around people. In fact, you could call me a bit of a social butterfly. I’m always happy to say hello to new humans and I enjoy meeting other dogs when I’m out and about too. While I’d prefer to be the only pet in the home so I can soak up all the love, I’d be very happy to have doggy friends to walk with. Because I’m a greyhound, I can’t live with cats or small furry animals — my sighthound instincts might get the better of me. I could happily live with children aged 11 and over, especially if they’re ready for a tall, goofy friend! However, I can have visiting children that are younger than this due to my gentle nature. When it comes to exercise, I’m more of a “slow and steady” kind of dog. I enjoy a nice plod rather than long, energetic walks. Honestly, my favourite place to be is curled up on the sofa. I absolutely love cuddles and will happily try to convince you I’m a lap dog! I do have a cheeky side—I’m a bit of a master thief when it comes to shoes, slippers and the washing – I won’t destroy it though! I’m only trying to help 😂 When I first move in, I’d really appreciate it if someone could be around most of the time while I settle into my new surroundings. Once I’m feeling confident and comfortable, this could gradually build up to me being left for a couple of hours. A secure garden would be wonderful too — somewhere safe where I can stretch my long legs and enjoy the occasional zoom around.
