Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Can I be left alone? Yes Sonic was previously not left home alone very often but when he was he was settled . After some training and once settled in, he may be able to be left alone for this time again. Do I have any medical conditions? None Sonic has a current medical concerns, namely brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets that can be kept separately Additional information Sonic will need continued management around other dogs, out on walks, he can be very intense and stares at them. We have been teaching Sonic to redirect his attention away from them which he is doing well with. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Sonic needs to live in a home with children aged at least 11+ as he has previously shown resource guarding behaviours that will need to be managed. Once bonded to his people, we really do see his goofy, silly self come out of his shell. What type of environment would suit me? Sonic will need his own secure, private garden for him to have an off lead area where he can run around. Sonic can be strong on lead at times and needs to be walked by adults only, he would prefer quiet walks where he won’t bump into dogs too often.
