Adoptar a Sonny

Sophie y Holly han hecho un gran video y fotografía de Sonny. Sonny ha estado en un cuidado temporal. "Pasamos un día relajado con el hermoso Sonny hoy. Conocimos a algunos perros en nuestro paseo en Cowley Sale esta mañana, uno de los cuales era bastante chillón y vocacional. Sonny ni siquiera lo miró, parece ser su respuesta habitual de no prestar atención a la mayoría de las razas con las que hemos conocido. Le gusta caminar con sus compañeros grises. Después de un breve paseo en el hermoso pero frío y muy neblinoso sol matutino y un café en el Boathouse volvimos a mi casa, donde se dirigió directamente a donde estaba su cama y se dejó caer (haciéndolo muy difícil quitarle la correa y la chaqueta!), mientras movía la cola frenéticamente!! Esto fue seguido por unos momentos ligeramente tontos de pequeños zoomies pero se calmó de nuevo en su cama con orientación y prácticamente se tranquilizó para el resto de la tarde. Como antes, tiende a vigilar un poco a quien esté alrededor y a veces aparece como tu sombra pero en general no te sigue a todas partes. Simplemente quiere mantenerse informado. Nos alertó como siempre de que necesitaba salir a hacer pipí y regresó a su cama después de terminar en el jardín. Sonny es un verdadero encanto. Le encanta el cariño y los abrazos, a veces opera el "paw of more" y en un momento de esta tarde tenía una posición que había logrado de manera que mi brazo estaba estratégicamente posicionado debajo de su cabeza, lo que se volvía más pesado mientras trataba de sacarlo! Es bastante de bajo mantenimiento incluso para un galgo, pero tiene sus momentos tontos de vez en cuando. Los paseos más cortos son la mejor opción para él ya que a veces parece un poco rígido. En general, sin embargo, parece feliz explorando y oliendo bien. Esperamos que no sea mucho tiempo antes de que alguien con un agujero formado como Sonny se enamore de este hermoso chico.

Sophie and Holly have done a great video and photograph of Sonny. Sonny has been on a foster stay. “Spent a nice chilled day with the beautiful Sonny today. We met a few dogs on our walk at Cowley Sale this morning, one of which was quite yappy and vocal. Sonny didnt even look at it, seems to be his usual unbothered response to most breeds that we have met. He does seem to like walking with his fellow greys. After a short walk in the gorgeous but chilly and very misty morning sun and a coffee at the Boathouse we came back to mine whereby he headed straight to where his bed was and plonked himself down (making it very difficult to get harness and coat off!), whilst wagging his tail manically!! This was followed by a slightly silly few moments of mini zoomies but he did settle back onto his bed with guidance and pretty much calmed down for the remainder of the afternoon. As before he tends to keep a bit of an eye out for whoever is around and will sometimes appear as your shadow but on the whole he does not follow you everywhere you go. He seems to like to just keep tabs! He alerted us as usual to needing to go out for a wee and trotted back to his bed after finishing in the garden. Sonny is an absolute delight. He loves fuss and cuddles,will sometimes operate the ‘paw of more’ and at one point this afternoon had engineered a position whereby my arm was strategically positioned under his head which was becoming heavier as I was trying to extricate it! He is pretty low maintenance even for a greyhound but does have the odd daft moment. Shorter walks are the better option for him as sometimes he seems a little stiff. Generally though he seems happy to explore and have a good old sniff. Hopefully it will not be long before someone with a Sonny shaped hole falls in love with this stunning boy.
