Spud es un bully de 15 meses que es una pequeña explosión de energía y ahora está listo para encontrar su hogar para siempre. Rescatamos a Spud del refugio cuando sus días estaban tristemente llegando a su fin, y aunque no tenemos ningún historial previo sobre él, ha mejorado maravillosamente desde que llegó con nosotros. Al principio, Spud estaba muy nervioso y sin seguridad ante nuevas personas. Aunque aún puede ladrar cuando tiene miedo, con paciencia y muchas golosinas (la forma de su corazón), está aprendiendo que las personas pueden ser amables y confiables. Una vez que conoce a alguien, es cariñoso, juguetón y con mucho carácter. Spud necesitará dueños comprensivos que puedan continuar construyendo su confianza y ayudarle a crecer hasta ser el perrito feliz y seguro que sabemos que puede ser. Le encanta jugar y ya conoce comandos básicos como siéntate y da la pata. Thrive en un hogar que le pueda dar la seguridad, estructura y largos paseos que necesita. Creemos que sería más adecuado para un hogar solo de adultos. We rescued Spud from the pound when his days were sadly running out, and although we have no previous history for him, he has come on wonderfully since arriving with us. At first, Spud was very nervous and unsure of new people. He may still bark when he’s frightened, but with patience — and plenty of treats (the way to his heart!) — he’s learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. Once he knows you, he is affectionate, playful, and full of personality. Spud will need understanding owners who can continue to build his confidence and help him grow into the happy, secure pup we know he can be. He loves to play and already knows basic commands like sit and paw. He will thrive in a home that can give him the reassurance, structure, and nice long walks he needs.
