Stilton came to RSPCA Bluebell Ridge from a multi-cat household. While some of the other cats settled into cattery life quite quickly, Stilton found the change much more difficult. The unfamiliar sights, sounds and routines left him feeling unsure, and it took him a little while to find his paws. But as the weeks have passed, we’ve started to see the wonderfully crumbly centre of this cheesy boy. Beneath his cautious exterior is a sweet-natured cat who simply needs a little time to trust. Every small step he takes feels like a huge achievement, and watching his confidence slowly grow has been incredibly rewarding. Stilton is looking for a quieter, adult-only home with no other pets, where he can settle at his own pace. He needs kind and patient adopters who understand that not every cat shows their true personality straight away. Give him the time, space and reassurance he needs, and we’re confident you’ll discover the loving companion hiding beneath that nervous shell.
