19-07-26 Unity has come to us from a breeder to find the loving forever home she deserves. She is a very frightened little girl who is finding all the recent changes in her life overwhelming. Everything around her is new and unfamiliar, so she will need patient, understanding adopters who can help her discover that the world isn't such a scary place. Unity is looking for a calm, quiet, adult-only home with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs and understand the time, patience and commitment they need. She will thrive with a family who are happy to let her settle at her own pace, allowing her confidence to grow naturally without putting her under pressure. She finds great comfort in the company of other dogs and will need to live with at least one other kind and confident resident dog who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe. A canine companion will play a vital role in helping Unity gain confidence as she adjusts to her new life. Unity has never experienced life in a home before, so she will need gentle guidance as she learns about home life and new skills like house training. She has not yet learnt to walk on a lead or harness and will need to practice first around the home and garden until she is feeling brave enough to venture further. Unity is a gentle, sensitive girl who has so much potential. With a loving, experienced family, a confident canine friend by her side and all the time she needs to settle, we are sure she will gradually blossom into the wonderful companion she was always meant to be. Unity has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
