Uno es un chico de raza American Bully, quien lamentablemente fue dado por su humano. Llegó con su arnés que tenía un letrero "mi mamá dice que soy especial" lo cual fue una cruel ironía, ya que ahora Uno no tiene mamá. Llegó con una nota en la que decía que no le gustan los perros grandes, lo cual podemos ver un poco sí, los perros prominentes lo ponen un poco nervioso, y también que no le gustan mucho los hombres, pero esto no lo podemos confirmar, ya que Uno ha estado bien con muchos de nuestros voluntarios masculinos sin que haya una diferencia realmente comparado con las mujeres. Uno es un chico muy sensible emocionalmente, y este terrible cambio en su vida ha sido realmente difícil para él. La primera semana ladraba tanto por el estrés y el miedo, que su cuello estaba constantemente húmedo.... Luego se calmó un poco, viendo y sabiendo que nada malo le pasará aquí, que todos lo cuidan, lo pasean y lo aman suavemente. Aunque a veces tire un poco de la correa al salir de su jaula, después de estar solo todo el día durante 23,5 horas, camina realmente bien en la correa, y le encanta correr en el parque canino. Cuando ya conoce un poco al humano, se vuelve más abierto, alegre y dispuesto a socializar contigo. Aún no lo hemos probado directamente con otros perros, ya que recién llegó y ya ha tenido mucha carga. Pasa junto a la mayoría de los perros sin problemas, muestra interés en conocer algunos perros, y no se siente cómodo cerca de perros dominantes grandes. Es un chico muy agradable, dulce, amable y divertido, y proviene de un entorno hogareño, así que seguramente se adaptará rápidamente a una vida en casa. Normalmente no está muy interesado en comida o bocadillos, pero cuando traes pollo, ¡la historia cambia! Cuando sabe que tienes pollo, olvida sus modales y te da un ladrido y un salto para robarte el pollo. Por lo tanto, en este punto aún necesita algo de educación, sobre cómo sentarse correctamente para pedir el pollo, en lugar de exigírselo a ti. Su pelaje, especialmente en su cabeza, es suave como terciopelo, y cuando lo acaricias, se hace tranquilo y pacífico, quedándose a tu lado. Sabemos por experiencia que los perros de esta raza son muy sensibles, incluso aunque sus grandes cabezas tercas puedan hacerte pensar lo contrario, y sufren enormemente en estas condiciones. Normalmente pierden peso rápidamente, comienzan a tener problemas digestivos, erupciones cutáneas; así que realmente deseamos encontrarle rápido un hogar definitivo. Como no sabemos mucho de su pasado y aún no ha pasado tiempo con niños, por ahora estamos buscando un hogar sin niños pequeños, y en cuanto a niños mayores, se puede probar a Uno bajo petición. Ya ha sido revisado médicamente y parece saludable y en forma! También dio negativo para enfermedades mediterráneas, está vacunado, castrado y listo para ir a casa! Su altura en los hombros es de apenas 45 cm, es más largo que alto!

Uno is a beautiful American Bully type of a boy, who sadly was given away by his human. He arrived with his harness that had a sign "my mama says I'm special" which was a painful irony, as Uno now has no mama. He came with a notice that he doesn't like big dogs, which we can see a bit yes, big prominant dogs make him a bit nervous, and also that he does not like men very much, but this we cannot confirm, as Uno has nicely been around many of our kind male volunteers without seeing a difference really compared to women. Uno is an emotionally sensitive boy, and this terrible change of life has been really hard on him. The first week he was drooling so much for all the stress and fear, that his neck was constantly wet.... Then he calmed down a bit, seeing and knowing that nothing bad will happen to him here, that everyone takes care of him, walks him and gently loves him. Even though he might pull a bit on the leash when coming out of his kennel, after sitting alone every day for 23.5 hours, he actually walks really nicely on the leash, and he loves to run around in the dog park. When he already knows the human a bit more, he becomes more open, cheerful, and ready to socialise with you. We have not directly tested him with other dogs yet, as he recently arrived, and has already been dealing with a lot. He walks past most dogs without a drama, shows some interest in meeting some dogs, and does not feel relaxed around the presence of big dominant dogs. He is a really nice sweet boy, kind and fun, and he is coming from a home environment, so he surely will quickly settle into a home life again. Normally he is not overly interested in food or snacks, but when you bring out chicken, well then the story changes! When he knows you got the chicken, he forgets his manners and gives you a bark and a jump, to rob you of the chicken. So in this point, he would still need some education, on how to sit down politely to ask for the chicken, instead of demanding it from you. His fur, especially on his head, is velvet soft, and when you're stroking him, he becomes quiet and peaceful, staying by your side. We know from experience that dogs of this breed are very sensitive, even though their big stubborn heads might make you think differently, and they suffer immensely in these conditions. Usually they lose weight very quickly, start having digestions problems, skin rashes - so we are really wishing that we find Uno's forever home fast. Since we do not know much of his past, and he has not yet spent time with children, then for the time being we are looking for a home without small children, and regarding older children, Uno can be tested upon request. He has already been checked medically and seems all healthy and fit! He has also tested negative for Mediterranean diseases, is vaccinated, castrated and ready to go home! His shoulder height is just 45cm, he is more long than he is high!
