Meet Zero, a dog who has been at the shelter since early this year. He arrived very fearful, covered in ticks and wounds. He's an insecure dog who doesn't dare approach people unless his kennel mate is with him. However, he's gradually making progress. He's sociable with dogs, living with a female companion who provides great support. He's also friendly with people - though he runs away, he allows handling for medical care and petting, something he seemed unfamiliar with before. We hope he won't spend over a year at the shelter like many fearful dogs who need time and patience. Please consider giving this little dog a chance - he just needs someone to heal his heart.
