Llangosto is a medium-small sized dog with a lot of personality. At first he may seem somewhat distrustful and needs a little time to feel safe in a new environment. He is not an immediately adaptable dog, so the first days are important to observe his body language and give him space to get to know his new family at his own pace. When faced with new situations or outside his comfort zone, he may become defensive out of fear. However, when he starts to trust and feels calm, he changes a lot: he allows handling, becomes much more approachable, and his more affectionate and playful side appears. With people he trusts, he creates a very nice bond. He enjoys company, shared moments, and playing when he feels secure. For all these reasons, we are looking for a family with some experience and patience, that understands the importance of respecting his times and helping him gain confidence. It would not be suitable for elderly people or families with young children who cannot supervise the first days or weeks of adaptation. With the right environment, Llangosto can become a very special companion, full of affection.
