Asta fue dejado atrás por su familia que ya no podía tenerlo, porque creció demasiado grande. Aparentemente la mujer mayor de la familia lo obtuvo como cachorro y pensó que sería un Yorkshire. Bien, definitivamente no es un Yorkshire, y su cola es más grande que la de un Yorkshire. Asta es un perro WOW, se ve tan extraordinariamente especial, como una mezcla de un lobo con un poco de Podenco Ratonero pero también Dogo Argentino. No sabemos realmente qué raza es, pero se ve tan hermoso y poderoso, como un perro que verías en películas de fantasía épica, caminando en bosques salvajes. La altura de los hombros de Asta es de 64 cm, y aunque es grande, camina muy bien en la correa, y la mayoría del tiempo se mantiene tranquilo caminando a tu lado. Cuando ve a otro perro amable, está feliz de saludar tanto a perros machos como hembras, y está planeado que viva con un grupo de hembras pronto. Asta escucha bien su nombre y viene hacia ti cuando lo llamas. Le gusta las golosinas, pero no se obsesiona con ellas, así que es muy agradable hacer ejercicios de entrenamiento con él, sin que se excite demasiado. Asta fue dejado en el refugio con una larga lista de cosas que le gustan y cómo vivió antes en una casa, pero lo que la familia no mencionó es que Asta tiene una malformación ósea en el fémur de su pierna trasera derecha. Vive bien con ello, camina y corre bien, pero para darle una vida larga y feliz, un traumatólogo ha recomendado operarle la pierna, lo cual será seguido de terapia física, para que pueda desarrollar músculos en ese lado del cuerpo, y pronto correr con más comodidad. El refugio se encargará de su operación y terapia, también está disponible para adopción antes de la cirugía, eso no es un problema.

Asta was left behind by his family who could not have him anymore, because he grew too big. Apparently the elderly woman of the family got him as a puppy and thought he will be a Yorkshire. Well, Yorkshire he is definitely not, and his tail is bigger than a Yorkshire! Asta is a WOW dog, he looks so stunningly special, like a mixture of a wolfdog with a bit of Podenco Ratonero but also Dogo Argentino. We don't really know what breed he is but he looks so beautiful and mighty, like a dog that you would see in epic fantasy movies, walking in the wild forests. Asta's shoulder height is 64cm, and even though he is big, he walks very well on the leash, and most of the time stays calmly walking by your side. When he sees another friendly kind dog, he is happy to say hello both to nice male and female dogs, and he is planned to live together with a group of females soon. Asta listens well to his name and comes to you when you call him. He does like snacks, but he does not get obsessed about them, so it is very nice to do little training exercise with him, without him getting overly excited. Asta was left in the shelter with a long list of things he likes and how he has lived before in a home, but what the family did not mention, is that Asta has a femur bone malformation on his back right leg. He lives well with it, walks and runs well, but to give him a long happy life ahead, traumatologist has advised to operate on the leg, which will be followed by physiotherapy, so he can grow muscles on that side of his body, and soon to run more comfortably. The shelter will be taking care of his operation and therapy, he is also available for adoption before the surgery, that is not a problem.
