Babsi fue vista en las calles durante varios días, junto con la pequeña perra Dachsi Minna (ya en su nueva casa), antes de que pudieran ser capturadas una tras otra. Ambas estaban muy delgadas, tímidas con las personas y asustadas ante situaciones nuevas. Justo antes de ser atrapada, Babsi estaba corriendo desesperada por la autopista, confundida y estresada al máximo. Una vez que llegó al refugio, durmió en su cama durante 3 días seguidos, sin exagerar... Solo dormía, comía, bebía agua, daba vuelta y volvía a dormir. Una vez que Babsi se recuperó de la agotadora experiencia, comenzó a salir lentamente de su jaula para mirar a su alrededor, saludar a otros perros en el área, pero aún siendo temerosa hacia las personas, no sabiendo aún a quién confiar. Cuando Babsi ve a una persona varias veces, se relaja con ella, y le gusta dar caminatas, manteniéndose cerca de tu lado. Es una mezcla de Podenco Campanero, y con su belleza atemporal y elegancia, realmente debería estar actuando en películas. Su belleza hace que pienses en elfos, y todas las cosas divinas, frágiles y delicadas. A Babsi le gusta que las personas que conoce y confía la toquen, sin embargo todavía desea ser abordada lentamente, sin movimientos apresurados. Podemos ver que realmente encuentra confort en "la familiaridad" - le gusta regresar a su jaula, porque sabe que es un espacio seguro, le gusta caminar al lado de las personas que ya conoce, y cuando camina las mismas rutas, podemos ver claramente que se relaja en la situación. Con otros perros es respetuosa y social, y aunque en un hogar tranquilo, con rutinas diarias lentas y repetitivas, también podría ser un solo perro, entonces teniendo otros perros sociales a su alrededor, seguramente se sentirá más cómoda en situaciones nuevas, apoyándose en su guía. En este momento, Babsi aún no disfruta correr en el parque por su propia iniciativa, sino que prefiere ser guiada con correa, o seguir a un compañero canino. Aunque puede tener momentos de pánico ante sonidos fuertes o movimientos repentinos, como un camión de basura, ella misma tiene una energía calmada y estática cuando se relaja. Pero no piensen que esta anciana señora ha perdido todo su brillo, no, no! Cuando menos lo esperan, en sus espacios más seguros, deja escapar un baile bobo de vez en cuando! Así que sabemos que aún tiene un lado juguetón y despreocupado oculto, y estamos seguros de que una vez que esté en un hogar seguro, con su humano para siempre, jugará corriendo por el jardín en poco tiempo! Babsi busca un hogar en un entorno tranquilo, ya sea en un área verde de una pequeña ciudad, un pueblo o en el campo. La ciudad también es una opción para Babsi, y tampoco le gustaría mudarse con niños pequeños en este momento, debido al ruido y los movimientos apresurados de los niños. Niños mayores, educados y con comportamiento suave estarían bien. La altura de su hombro es de 63 cm.

Babsi was seen on the streets for several days, together with little Dachsi-girl Minna (already in her new home), before they could be caught one after the other. They were both very skinny, shy with people and scared of new situations. Just before she was caught, Babsi was running for her life on the motorway, confused and stressed to the maximum. Once she arrived to the shelter, she slept on her bed for 3 days straight, no exaggeration... She only slept, ate, drank water, turned sides, and went back to sleep. Once Babsi recovered from the terrible exhaustion, she started to come out of her kennel slowly, to look around, greet other dogs in the area, but still being fearful of people, not knowing who yet to trust. When Babsi has seen a person several times, she relaxes around them, and likes to go for walks, staying close by your side. She is a beautiful Podenco Campanero mix, and with her timeless beauty and elegance, she really should be performing in movies. Her beauty makes you think of elves, and all things divine, fragile, delicate. Babsi enjoys to be touched by the people that she knows and trusts, however she still wishes to be approached slowly, without hectic movements. We can see that she really finds comfort in "familiarity" - she likes to go back to her kennel, because she knows that's a safe space, she likes to walk next to the people she already knows, and when walking the same routes, we can visibly see her relaxing into the situation. With other dogs she is respectful and social, and even though in a quiet home, with slow and repetitive daily routines, she could also well be an only dog, then having other social dogs around, she will surely feel more comfortable in new situations, relying on their guidance. At the moment, Babsi does not yet enjoy running around in the park by her own initiative, but prefers to be led by leash, or to follow a canine companion. Even though she can get moments of panic by some loud sounds or sudden intrusive movements, like a trash truck, she herself actually has such calm, still energy when she is relaxing. But don't think that this elderly lady has no spark left, no no! When you least expect it, in her safest spaces, she let's out an occasional goofy dance! So we know she has a playful and carefree side of her still in hiding, and we're sure that once she is in a safe home, with her forever human, she will be playfully running around the garden in no time! Babsi is looking for a home in a quiet environment, either in a green area of a small town, a village or on the countryside. City is in an option for Babsi, and she also would not like to move in with small children at the moment, due to the noise & hectic movements of children. Older, educated and softly behaving children would be fine! Her shoulder height is 63cm.
