Bimbo es un chico muy especial con una historia increíble de supervivencia. Bimbo fue un gatito salvaje de las calles de Garrucha. Pasó mucho tiempo con su pata colgando hasta que una asociación local pudo acogerlo. La pierna trasera no se pudo salvar y tuvo que ser amputada. Fue una decisión difícil, ya que era muy salvaje, no podía ir a un hogar ni volver a la colonia de la calle, sin embargo la asociación quería darle una oportunidad ya que en ese momento tenía poco más de 9 meses. Después de un adopción fallida debido a sus miedos y traumas por haber estado en dolor durante tanto tiempo, otra asociación acogió a Bimbo. No es sorpresa que, después de tanta dificultad, a Bimbo le costara confiar en las personas, así que un voluntario dedicado pasó más de tres meses trabajando con él de manera individual en un entorno muy tranquilo. Con mucha paciencia y siempre respetando a Bimbo y dándole espacio, finalmente permitió que lo acariciaran y comenzó a disfrutar jugando como el gato joven que era. En esta etapa, se decidió que a Bimbo le beneficiaría interactuar con otros gatos y otras personas, por lo que entró en nuestro área de jardín, donde los voluntarios continúan trabajando con él, mostrando paciencia, bondad y amor. Finalmente, sentimos que su pequeño corazón se ha curado y está listo para creer en las personas nuevamente, ya que hoy Bimbo es cariñoso, amoroso y lleno de carácter con los voluntarios que conoce. Se mueve perfectamente con tres patas y no ha dejado que su discapacidad lo ralentice en absoluto. Aunque aún es un animal cauteloso, una vez que te conoce, disfruta de las atenciones y abrazos, y tiene un hábito particular de sentarse en la parte posterior del sofá para "reordenar" tu cabello. Bimbo busca un hogar tranquilo y cuidadoso con alguien que sea paciente y le dé el tiempo que necesita para aprender a confiar en ellos. Ha mostrado tanta valentía y resistencia, ahora está listo para el premio: un hogar para siempre lleno de amor. Bimbo is a very special boy with an incredible story of survival. Bimbo was a feral kitten from the streets of Garrucha. He spent a long time with his paw hanging down until a local Association was able to take him in. The back leg could not be saved and had to be amputated. It was a difficult decision, because as he was very feral, he could not go to a home, nor could he return to the street colony, however the Association wanted to give him a chance since at that time he was no more than 9 months old.After going through a failed adoption due to his fears and traumas from being in pain for so long, another Association took in Bimbo. It’s no surprise that, after such hardship, Bimbo found it difficult to trust humans, so a dedicated volunteer spent more than three months working with him on a one-to-one basis in a very quiet environment. With much patience and by always respecting Bimbo and giving him space, he finally allowed himself be petted and began to enjoy playing like the young cat he was.It was at this stage, it was decided that Bimbo would benefit from interaction with other cats and other people and so he came into our Garden area, where our volunteers have continued to work with him, showing patience, kindness and love.Finally, we feel his little heart has healed and he’s ready to believe in people again as today Bimbo is affectionate, loving and full of character with the volunteers he knows. He gets around just fine on three legs and hasn’t let his disability slow him down one bit. Although he is still a wary sole, once he gets to know you, he enjoys a fuss and cuddles, and has a particularly endearing habit of sitting on the back of the sofa to “rearrange” your hair!Bimbo is looking for a calm, caring home with someone who is patient and will give him the time he needs to learn to trust in them. He has shown such courage and resilience — now he’s ready for the reward: a forever home filled with love.
