Hay algo tan maravilloso como un pastor alemán maduro y sabio y Bobica es el epítome del oro gris. Lamentablemente fue abandonada por sus dueños, probablemente porque compraron un cachorro y su solución fue dejarla en las calles para que se las arreglara sola. Fue capturada por agentes de animales y llevada a un refugio público. Cuando Bobika dio positivo para Leishmania iba a ser eutanasia, pero el personal del refugio contactó con un rescatista y fue salvada y trasladada a jaulas, donde ahora espera con esperanza a alguien que le ofrezca el otium que merece y llenar sus últimos años de amor, comodidad y alegría. Será la amiga más fiel del mundo. Bobica es un poco cautelosa al principio cuando la conoces, pero pronto se calma y es muy cariñosa cuando empieza a relajarse, tiene un carácter encantador, dulce y amigable. Pero no es un perro de regazo y necesitará su espacio, al menos hasta que realmente confíe. Se lleva bien con otros perros, pero es una chica tranquila, normalmente se queda sola y no juega con los otros perros de su jaula. En cuanto a su salud, la condición de Bobica es bastante buena para su edad y su Leishmaniosis parece estar bien controlada con medicación. No sabemos si ha vivido alguna vez en una casa, así que podría necesitar entrenamiento para ir al baño, pero es una chica muy inteligente y pronto recuperará el tiempo perdido. El hogar ideal para Bobica es una casa tranquila donde se satisfagan las necesidades de un perro mayor y donde pueda estar con sus humanos la mayor parte del tiempo, porque eso es lo que más quiere un pastor alemán. Bobica parece haber tenido un momento difícil, así que necesitará espacio y comprensión de las personas a su alrededor. Probablemente será más feliz en entornos semiurbanos o rurales, donde podrá proteger su hogar y anunciar la llegada de los visitantes. Estérilizada, con microchip y completamente vacunada.

There is nothing as wonderful as a mature, wise German Shepherd and Bobica is the epitome of grey gold! Sadly she has been discarded by her owners, probably because they bought a puppy instead and their solution was to leave her in the streets to fend for herself! She was caught by dog catchers and brought to a public shelter. When Bobika tested positive to Leishmania she was going to be put down, but the shelter staff reached out to a rescuer and she was saved and moved to kennels, where she is now waiting hopefully for someone, who will give her the otium she deserves and fill her last years with love, comfort and joy. She will be the most loyal friend in the world! Bobica is a little careful at first when you meet her, but she soon warms up and is very affectionate when she starts to relax – she has a lovely, sweet and friendly character. But she is not a lap dog and will need her space, at least until she really trusts. She gets along fine with other dogs but is a quiet girl – she mainly keeps to herself, and does not play with the other dogs in her kennel. Healthwise Bobicas condition is fairly good for her age and her Leishmaniosis appears to be well managed with medication. We don’t know if she has ever lived in a home, so she might need house training, but she is a very clever girl and will soon catch up for lost time. The ideal home for Bobica is a calm household where the needs of an elderly dog will be met and where she can be together with her humans most of the time, because that is what a gsd wants the most. Bobica appears to have had a rough time so she will need space and understanding from the people around her. She will probably be happiest in semirural or rural surroundings, where she will be allowed to protect her home and give notice of arriving guests. Spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
