In Romania, dogs are still too often of very little value. Brian and his brother were once bought as puppies by a man. The puppies were sold to him as Labrador retrievers, but as the puppies grew into adults, the man realized that the dogs were not purebred. Therefore, the dogs had no value to him anymore, and he decided to abandon the pair in a nearby forest. One of the man's neighbors heard about the situation and, being a kind-hearted person, wanted to help the dogs. Therefore, he called his friend Carmen, who maintains Carmen's farm. Carmen promised to take the dogs in and so Brianna and his brother ended up living in Carmen's shelter kennel. Unfortunately, the siblings, who had lived with very little human contact on a large yard, had already become very shy, which is why they have frozen in the shelter kennel. Brianna has been very stressed in the shelter kennel, but has calmed down somewhat over time and with new neighbors. He fears people very much and tries to avoid the visitors who appear at the kennel. However, people clearly provoke his curiosity and the thrown-in balls Brianna dares to eat. He appears relatively energetic in the shelter kennel and is certainly also very frustrated from having lived in a small kennel run for several years. Currently, Brianna shares his enclosure with his brother hiding in the corner and the pair gets along well together. A experienced home or foster home is being sought for Brian, where he could calmly relieve his stress and learn to trust people.

Romaniassa koirilla on vielä surullisen usein kovin vähän arvoa. Briannan ja hänen veljensä on aikoinaan ostanut pentuina eräs mies. Pennut oli myyty hänelle labradorinnoutajina, mutta pentujen kasvaessa aikuisiksi mies huomasi, etteivät koirat olleetkaan puhdasrotuisia. Ihmiset kuitenkin selvästi herättävät hänen uteliaisuutensa ja maahan heitetyt namit Brianna uskaltaa käydä syömässä. Hän vaikuttaa tarhalla melko energiseltä ja onkin varmasti myös hyvin turhautunut elettyään pienessä häkissä jo useamman vuoden. Tällä hetkellä Brianna jakaa häkkinsä kopissa piileskelevän veljensä kanssa ja kaksikko tulee hyvin toimeen keskenään.
