Little Bridget es algo que un niño salvaje. Aún una perra, busca una familia que idealmente tenga interés en el entrenamiento de perros, ya que es una mezcla de Catahoula Leopard Dog, una raza muy inteligente y alerta con un fuerte deseo de trabajar. Recientemente ha sido devuelta a nuestro cuidado y está un poco insegura sobre su situación actual. En ocasiones Bridget es muy segura y en otras muy tímida y cautelosa. Es un perro cariñoso que disfruta del contacto, pero se excita fácilmente y a menudo recurre a agarrar ropa y manos. Su nueva familia tendrá que guiarla lejos de estos tipos de comportamientos en lugar de castigarla. Bridget ama jugar y hay ciertos juegos que serían una buena salida para sus instintos de cachorro y le ayudarían a controlar sus impulsos. Le falta mucha confianza alrededor de otros perros, aunque intenta jugar con algunos, huye cuando ellos lo recíproco. No tenemos dudas de que Bridget será un perro maravilloso en el corazón de la familia adecuada y nuestro equipo de entrenamiento está dispuesto a discutir cualquiera de sus necesidades con posibles adoptantes. Requisitos para el hogar: Bridget necesita un hogar donde pueda ser el único animal mientras se enfoca en su entrenamiento, y cualquier niño son adolescentes. Su familia tendrá que comprometerse a invertir algunos esfuerzos con ella y se les dará todo el apoyo desde el equipo del centro, y les recomendamos investigar sobre el Catahoula Leopard Dog antes de solicitar su adopción. Little Bridget is something of a wild child! Still a pup, she's looking for a family that ideally have an interest in dog training, as she's a cross Catahoula Leopard Dog, a very smart and switched on breed with a strong drive to work. She has recently been returned to our care and is a little unsure about her current circumstances. At times Bridget is very confident and at others very hesitant and wary. She's an affectionate dog who enjoys contact but is easily excited and often resorts to grabbing clothing and hands. Her new family will need to guide her away from these types of behaviours rather than punish her. Bridget loves to play and there are certain games that would be great outlet for her puppy drives and help her control her impulses. She lacks a lot of confidence around other dogs although she tries to play with some, she runs away when they reciprocate. We have no doubts that Bridget will be a wonderful dog at the heart of the right family and our training team are happy to discuss any of her needs with potential adopters. Bridget needs a home where she can be the only pet whilst she focuses on her training, and any children are teenagers. Her family will need to be committed to putting in some work with her and full support will be given from the team at the centre, and we would advise researching the Catahoula Leopard Dog before applying to adopt. Three of Bridget's litter mates have heart issues but she does not, but she may need monitoring in the future.
