Era como un anciano cuando era bebé, él y su hermano, arrugado y sin pelo. Y lentamente comenzó a crecer pelo nuevamente, su piel creció más alta y su rostro que tenía tristeza brilló. Button se recuperó, creció y se convirtió en un perro maravilloso y dulce. Es un cachorro bueno y cooperativo, muy bueno, un poco tímido al principio, pero nevertheless cooperativo y cariñoso. No es que merezca una casa más que otros animales, simplemente porque tuvo una difícil situación, pero lo vemos en el refugio, recordamos cómo era, cuánto sufrió y cuán fuerte se mantuvo, y nos entristece que no haya encontrado su familia. Diríamos que no ha encontrado a la suya porque ella sacó pelo negro y marrón en lugar de blanco y rizado, pero no queremos quejarnos. No es el único esperando, y quizás seguirá esperando mucho tiempo. Animales como él existen infinitamente, pero para cada uno de ellos, no hay vidas infinitas, solo hay una, la suya. Button no es el perro más sociable del mundo ni el más cómodo. Tiene miedo de las cosas que no conoce y de las personas que no conoce.
