Cera y su hermano Petrie fueron encontrados en la calle, sin microchip, pero no estaban en malas condiciones, por lo que seguramente no han estado en las calles por mucho tiempo. Creemos que el perro no castrado de alguien terminó teniendo una camada de cachorros, al principio eran lindos y quizás la familia disfrutaba tener a los cachorros alrededor, pero luego crecieron y ya no eran tan lindos. Otro perro joven muy similar fue encontrado unos días después en la misma área, por lo que creemos que había al menos 3 de ellos. Cera y su hermano Petrie se unieron a diferentes grupos de perros en el refugio, ya que Petrie es un chico más tierno, y Cera es una hembra más fiera, quien se beneficia más de un grupo con perros adultos líderes. Cera es una mezcla de pastor alemán joven, una adolescente de alta energía, quien ahora está en un grupo social con otros perros para aprender de ellos, ya que notamos rápidamente que carece de habilidades sociales, y tiene miedo de otros perros cuando los conoce e interactúa con ellos, y al no saber cómo comunicarse, entonces ladraba a otros perros. Ahora está establecida en este grupo, y continúa conociendo a nuevos perros para mejorar su socialización y límites. Está creciendo como una muchacha bien educada. Como cualquier cachorro pastor, es un poco un lagarto, pero está aprendiendo a escuchar y respetar a perros y personas. Cera aprende increíblemente rápido y disfruta del entrenamiento y de aprender cosas nuevas. Busca un ser humano que esté muy interesado en el entrenamiento de perros, obediencia, agility, sesiones de entrenamiento en grupo. Cuando la soltamos sin correa en nuestras áreas cerradas, corre y corre para liberar toda su energía, y le encanta cuando otros perros la persigan. También le encanta subir a los obstáculos de agility, y realmente amaría participar en deportes caninos, para liberar su energía de manera positiva y productiva. Cuando su entrenadora la sacó durante el día, se comportó muy bien en el auto, se sentó en la caja de transporte mordisqueando su premio sin hacer ruido, y caminó muy bien con la correa. Permaneció muy conectada con ella y escuchó muy bien incluso aunque estuviera en un entorno nuevo con muchos perros. Solo necesita una persona segura y bastante experimentada, o un ser humano que desee aprender su camino hacia el mundo canino con Cera a su lado. Para Cera, buscamos un hogar con dueños experimentados de perros, listos para aceptar este reto, para tener entrenamiento y divertirse con esta linda chica, nunca te aburrirás con ella! Un jardín sería ideal también. Podría ser el único perro si tuviera contacto regular con otros perros (perros de la familia, escuelas de entrenamiento, grupos sociales...), o podría unirse a un hogar donde ya esté presente un perro adulto, equilibrado y educador. Si hay niños en la familia, tendrían que tener más de 12 años y no tener miedo a los perros. Su altura en el hombro es aproximadamente 55 cm.

Cera and her brother Petrie were found on the street, without a microchip, but they were not in a bad condition, so they surely have not been on the streets for long. We think that someone's uncastrated dog ended up having a litter of puppies, in the beginning they were cute and maybe the family enjoyed having the puppies around, but then they got big and not so cute anymore. Another very similar young dog was found some days later in the same area, so we think there was at least 3 of them. Cera and her brother Petrie joined different groups of dogs in the shelter, as Petrie is a softer boy, and Cera a more fierce female, who benefits more from a group with adult leader dogs. Cera is a young black Shephard mix, a high energy teenager, who is now in a social group with other dogs to learn from them, as we quickly noticed she is lacking of social skills, and is scared of other dogs when meeting and interacting with them, and not knowing how to communicate, she then barked at other dogs. She is now settled in this group, and continues to meet new dogs to improve her socialisation and boundaries. She is growing into a well-educated girl. As any shepherd puppy, she is a little alligator, but she is learning to listen, and respect dogs and people. Cera learns incredibly fast and enjoys training and being taught new things. She is looking for a human, who is very interested in dog training, obedience, agility, group training sessions. When we let her off leash in our enclosed areas, she runs and runs to let all her energy out, and loves when other dogs chase her. She also loves to climb on agility obstacles, and would really love to engage in dog sports, to release her energy in a positive and productive direction. When her trainer took her out for the day, she behaved very nicely in the car, she sat in the transport box chewing her treat without a sound, and walked very nicely on the leash. She remained very connected with her and listened really well even though she was in a new enviroment with many dogs. She just needs a confident and quite experienced person, or a human who wishes to learn their way into the dog-world with Cera by her side. For Cera, we are looking for a home with experienced dog owners, who are ready to take this challenge, for some training and to have fun with this lovely girl, you will never be bored with her! A garden would be ideal too. She could be an only dog if she would have regular contact with other dogs (family dogs, training schools, social groups..), or she could join a home where an adult, balanced educator dog is already present. If there are children in the family, then they would have to be over 12 years old and not afraid of dogs. Her shoulder height is approximately 55cm.
