Dulce Dragos ha pasado toda su vida, cuatro largos años, en el refugio. Nació aquí y incluso vio a su hermosa madre Dracula encontrar su hogar para siempre hace algunos años. Ahora es el momento de que este dulce chico tenga su oportunidad. Con unos 15 kg, Dragos es un tamaño mediano perfecto: suficientemente pequeño para abrazos, suficientemente grande para aventuras. Como siempre ha vivido en el refugio, necesitará una familia paciente y comprensiva que pueda ayudarlo a aprender qué es la vida en casa. Dragos funcionará mejor como el único perro, aunque podría disfrutar conocer perras tranquilas durante las caminatas una vez que se sienta cómodo. Está un poco nervioso con los arneses, especialmente cualquier cosa que vaya sobre su cabeza, por lo tanto necesitará tiempo, paciencia y estímulo suave para construir su confianza. Un jardín seguro es obligatorio, para que pueda explorar con seguridad mientras aprende a confiar. Puede ser un poco ladrador, pero eso es común en un refugio ocupado. Una vez que esté en un hogar tranquilo y amoroso, creemos que comenzará a relajarse y mostrar su lado más tierno. Dragos no puede vivir con gatos, pero podría compartir felizmente su espacio con adolescentes mayores amables y experimentados con perros que le den la tranquilidad y seguridad que necesita.

Sweet Dragos has spent his entire life — four long years — in the shelter. He was born here, and even saw his lovely mum Dracula find her forever home some years ago. Now, it’s finally time for this gentle boy to have his chance. At around 15kg, Dragos is the perfect medium size — small enough for cuddles, big enough for adventures! Because he’s always lived in the shelter, he’ll need a patient, understanding family who can help him learn what home life is all about. Dragos would do best as the only dog, though he may enjoy meeting calm female dogs on walks once he’s comfortable. He’s a little nervous about harnesses — especially anything going over his head — so he’ll need time, patience, and gentle encouragement to build his confidence. A secure garden is a must, so he can safely explore while learning to trust. He can be a bit barky, but that’s common in a busy shelter. Once he’s in a quiet, loving home, we believe he’ll start to relax and show his softer side. Dragos can’t live with cats, but he could happily share his space with kind, dog-savvy older teenagers who’ll give him the calm reassurance he needs.
