Cindy was one of seven equines rescued by Willows a few years ago. Her owner was no longer able to cope and had left Cindy and her friends out in a muddy field with no food or shelter.Cindy was also heavily pregnant and wasn't getting the proper nutrition. Along with this, her feet were badly over-grown and she badly needed to see an equine dentist. With no safe place to shelter from the cold, it was clear that the situation was very serious so we agreed to take them all into our care. A few months later, Cindy safely gave birth to her daughter Ferne and the two live safely and happily at Willows.
