A mediodía salimos para la segunda caminata del día. Está bastante emocionado en este momento y corre alrededor de la casa mientras me pongo las botas y la chaqueta. Después de nuestra caminata, me observa atentamente mientras como mi almuerzo esperando que le dé algún premio. Normalmente se relaja nuevamente para hacer otra siesta durante unas horas. Por la tarde normalmente vamos al jardín y jugamos. Le gusta el juego de tirar cuando le da la gana, pero es muy fuerte así que siempre gana. Si el clima no es buen entonces nos quedamos dentro y jugamos o le doy un hueso duradero o un cuerno, que le encanta. Después de liberar energía se relaja nuevamente para hacer otra siesta durante una hora o así hasta que termino de trabajar. Luego vamos a la tercera caminata del día y luego a casa para la cena. Por las noches normalmente vuelve a disfrutar del cuerno un poco, pero luego se relaja bastante bien. Le encanta abrazarse y robar tu calor, así que se unirá felizmente a ti en el sofá por las noches". Colin es un Staffordshire bull terrier cruz de 4 años buscando un hogar amoroso. Le encanta pasar tiempo con sus personas favoritas y está más que feliz haciendo nuevos amigos. A Colin le encanta acurrucarse con sus humanos en el sofá tan cerca de ellos como sea posible y ver la televisión y ha sido descrito por sus cuidadores de acogida como "muy tranquilo". Busca un hogar solo para adultos experimentados donde los dueños puedan estar con él la mayor parte del día para ayudarle a adaptarse. Colin's foster carer has written ' A Day in the Life' about Colin's time in foster! "Hi Colin's days are mostly the same. He seems to respond well to routine. Day starts with a morning walk first thing and then back home for breakfast. He usually settles down after eating and has a bit of a snooze in his bed in my office. Later on in the morning he likes to sit on the sofa and watch everything that goes on outside the window. At lunch time we go out for the second walk of the day. He is usually quite excited by this time and gets the zoomies around the house whilst im getting my boots and jacket on. After our walk, he watches me intently eat my lunch hoping for some treats to come his way! He usually settles down again for a snooze after this for a couple of hours. Mid afternoon we typically go in the garden and have a play. He likes tug of war when the mood takes him, but he is very strong so always wins! If the weather isn't nice then we'll stay inside and have a play or I'll give him a long lasting chew or an antler, which he very much enjoys. After expelling some energy he will settle again snooze for another hour or so until I finish work. We will then go for the 3rd walk of the day and then home for dinner. In the evenings he usually tucks in to the antler again for a bit, but will then settle down quite well. He does enjoy a cuddle and stealing your warmth, so will happily join you on the sofa in the evenings." Colin is a 4-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier cross looking for a loving home. Colin is a super smart lad and loves to spending his day curled up beside his Caterpillar toy or looking out the window watching the world go by. Colin loves to snuggle up to his humans on the sofa as close to them as possible and watch tv and has been described by his foster carers as "very easy going". He is looking for an experienced adult only home with owners that can be at home with him most of the day to help him settle in.
