Crumble es una perra preocupada que entró en nuestro cuidado proveniente de un criador, buscando un nuevo comienzo. Cuando llegó por primera vez, estaba muy preocupada y sin seguridad en el mundo que la rodeaba, pero con el tiempo y la paciencia ha comenzado a adaptarse maravillosamente. Crumble ahora es mucho menos temerosa de nosotros los humanos y ha comenzado realmente a salir de su caparazón, eligiendo interactuar más con el personal y mostrando curiosidad por su entorno. Aunque aún puede ser sensible y aprecia que se respete su espacio, es evidente que a Crumble simplemente le tomó tiempo sentirse segura. Con tranquilidad y mucha atención, su verdadera personalidad está comenzando a brillar. Es un alma dulce que responde mejor a interacciones calmadas, amables y presentaciones lentas. Sería más feliz y se desarrollaría mejor como el único perro en el hogar, donde puede disfrutar de toda la atención, adaptarse más fácilmente a una rutina y construir un fuerte vínculo con su nueva familia. Como nunca ha vivido en un entorno doméstico antes, necesitará apoyo paciente con el entrenamiento para ir al baño y aprender las rutinas diarias. Necesitará un hogar sin gatos ya que tiene un interés excesivo hacia ellos. Estamos buscando un hogar experimentado y exclusivo para adultos donde Crumble pueda seguir construyendo su confianza a su propio ritmo. Un hogar tranquilo con adoptantes comprensivos que estén dispuestos a dejarla tomar las cosas con calma permitirá que Crumble se desarrolle plenamente. Crumble tiene una herida por mordedura dentro de su oreja, que actualmente está siendo tratada y nuestros veterinarios han observado que tiene una luxación de la rótula de grado 2. Esto no le causa ningún problema y podría mejorar con ejercicio suave a medida que fortalezca sus músculos.

Crumble is a worried lady who came into our care from a breeder, searching for a fresh start. When she first arrived, she was very worried and unsure of the world around her, but with time and patience she has begun to settle beautifully. Crumble is now much less fearful of us humans and has really started to come out of her shell, choosing to engage more with staff members and showing curiosity about her surroundings. While she can still be sensitive and appreciates having her space respected, it’s clear that Crumble simply needed time to feel safe. With gentle reassurance and plenty of TLC, her true personality is beginning to shine through. She is a gentle soul who responds best to calm, kind interactions and slow introductions. She would be happiest and thrive best as the only dog in the home, where se can enjoy all the attention, settle more easily into a routine, and build a strong bond with her new family. As she has never lived in a home environment before, she will need patient support with house training and learning everyday routines. She will need a home without cats as she is overly interested. We are looking for an experienced, adult-only home where Crumble can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. A quiet household with understanding adopters who are happy to let her take things slowly will allow her to truly flourish. With the right people, time, and lots of love, Crumble will make a wonderfully rewarding companion. Crumble has a previous bite wound inside her ear, which is currently being treated and our vets have noted that she has a Grade 2 luxating patella. This doesn't cause her any issues and may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle.
