Eve es un pequeño a mediano tamaño, de alta energía, mix entre collie y whippet, tiene 2,5 años y ha estado en nuestro cuidado desde abril de 2023. Fue encontrada como una perra abandonada, los dueños fueron localizados pero se negaron a recuperarla. Eve es muy cariñosa con las personas que conoce, responde bien al entrenamiento, es motivada por la comida y quiere complacer. Le encanta jugar con juguetes, así como con pelotas y juegos de tirar. Es buena en la jaula y no sufre de ansiedad por separación. Eve está entrenada para hacer sus necesidades en su kennel, por lo tanto el entrenamiento en un entorno doméstico debería ser fácil. Le encantan sus paseos, es excelente usando un halti pero puede emocionarse cuando encuentra cosas nuevas. Ladra a otros perros cuando está en correa, de manera no agresiva, más bien frustrada. Tira fuerte para acercarse a ellos y ladra mucho, esto no siempre cesa cuando se encuentran. Eve ha tenido juegos sin correa con otros perros en el refugio y todo ha ido bien. A veces intenta lamer a las personas cuando pasa junto a ellas y es generalmente amigable, pero si alguien se le acerca demasiado rápido o habla con un tono muy dominante, ella ladra y se molesta (creo que lo encuentra amenazador). Ella necesita unos paseos decentes al día o, si hay otro perro juguetón y energético en el hogar, Eve libera energía jugando y no necesita tantos paseos diarios. Eve ama abrazarse y se acurruca en el sofá. Eve requiere un hogar en un área rural tranquila o de campo y se sobrecarga si hay muchas personas entrando y saliendo del hogar, por lo tanto requiere un hogar con una sola persona o una pareja. Eve no se lleva bien con todos los perros, pero ha estado en jaula con diversos otros perros y se llevó muy bien con todos ellos. No le gusta todos los perros, pero no hay un patrón, por ejemplo cierto tamaño, raza o sexo, los perros más juguetones y energéticos parecen ser sus favoritos. Inmediatamente sabremos si se llevará bien con tu perro. Eve es una chica encantadora, es muy leal y será un buen compañero, pero necesita tiempo para adaptarse y no demasiadas aventuras al principio. Eve está castrada, microchipada, vacunada completamente incluyendo KC, con tratamiento contra garrapatas y pulgas. Se aplica visita a domicilio y tarifa de adopción. Tenga en cuenta que estamos en North Cork y los adoptantes deben estar dispuestos a viajar hasta nuestros refugios para conocer a los perros y, si aplica, traer su propio perro con ellos. Eve is a small to medium sized, high energy, collie whippet x who is 2.5 years old and been in our care since April 2023. She was found as a stray, owners were located who refused to take her back. Eve is very affectionate to those she knows, and responds well to training, being food motivated and eager to please. She loves to play with toys, as well as fetch and tug of war. She is good in the crate and does not have separation anxiety. Eve is clean in her kennel house training in a home environment should be easy . She loves her walks, is excellent using a halti but can get excited when she encounters new things. She will bark at other dogs when on lead, in a non-aggressive frustration type of way. She will pull hard to get to them and bark a lot, this doesn’t always stop when they meet. Eve has had off lead play with other dogs at the kennels and all has been fine. She sometimes tries to lick people as she passes them and is generally friendly, but if someone approaches her too fast or talks in an overly pushy voice she will bark at them and get annoyed (I think she finds this threatening). She does need a decent couple of walks per day or if another playful energetic dog in the home Eve burns off energy playing and does not need as many daily walks. Eve loves to cuddle and will cosy up on the sofa. Eve requires a home in a quiet rural or country area and gets overwhelmed if too many people are coming and going in a home hence she requires a home with one person or a couple. Eve does not get on with all dogs but has been kenneled with various other dogs and got on great with them all. She does not like all dogs but there is no pattern e.g. certain size, breed or sex, the more playful energetic dog seems to be her favorites. We will know straight away if she will get on with your dog. Eve is a lovely girl, she is very loyal and will be a lovely companion but needs time to settle and not too many adventures to begin with.. Eve is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated. Home visit and adoption fee apply.
