Flash es un Poodle estándar verdaderamente llamativo con una personalidad grande, un alma sensible y un espíritu de cachorro enorme. Llegó a nosotros por primera vez después de que sus anteriores dueños ya no pudieran darle el tiempo y el ejercicio que necesitaba. Desde entonces, lo hemos visto crecer desde un chico preocupado en un compañero mucho más confiado y cariñoso, y sigue haciendo que estemos orgullosos cada día. Flash sigue siendo un personaje, divertido, juguetón y lleno de energía, pero detrás de su exterior animado hay un corazón tierno que solo quiere amar y ser amado. Puede ser sensible en situaciones nuevas y aún encuentra el mundo un poco abrumador a veces, pero con personas en las que confía, su dulce y leal naturaleza brilla. Una vez que Flash se vincula contigo, eres suyo para siempre. Recientemente, ha estado mostrándonos más de su lado amoroso. En días lluviosos cuando nos acurrucamos juntos para evitar la lluvia, se da la vuelta para recibir caricias en el estómago, trae sus juguetes para llamar la atención y se duerme felizmente durante un abrazo. Son en esos momentos silenciosos cuando su verdadera personalidad sale, cariñosa, confiada y ansiosa por complacer. El entrenamiento de Flash va de fortaleza en fortaleza. Ha dominado "toque" (tocando su nariz con su mano) y ahora está aprendiendo "lugar". Aún se muestra un poco mordisqueador cuando está muy emocionado, pero ha avanzado mucho desde su llegada y continúa mejorando con paciencia y consistencia. Necesitará que su futura familia continúe con esta guía suave en casa para que pueda seguir construyendo todo el progreso que ha logrado. Como es una raza activa, Flash ama sus caminatas y disfruta explorar el mundo a su propio ritmo. Es más feliz en áreas tranquilas y calmadas donde puede relajarse y tomar todo sin sentirse apurado. Necesitará ser el único animal en el hogar, ya que prefiere la compañía humana sobre otros animales, y tampoco le gustan las palomas ni los gansos. Flash ha tenido cirugía exitosa para entropión en ambos ojos, y aunque aún necesita un poco de cuidado por dermatitis leve alrededor de ellos. Actualmente se está tratando para orejas doloridas y sensibles. Lo que realmente necesita Flash ahora es un hogar tranquilo, comprensivo y solo para adultos, alguien que esté presente la mayor parte del tiempo, alguien que le ofrezca paciencia, estructura y todo el amor que merece. Con tiempo y confianza, Flash recompensará a su persona cien veces con lealtad, afecto y esa chispa especial que lo hace tan inolvidable. Por favor, no descarte a este bonito chico. Flash is a truly striking Standard Poodle with a big personality, a sensitive soul, and an oversized puppy spirit. He first came to us after his previous owners could no longer give him the time and exercise he needed. Since then, we’ve watched him grow from a worried boy into a much more confident and affectionate companion, and he continues to make us proud every single day. Flash is still very much a character, goofy, playful, and full of energy but beneath his bouncy exterior lies a gentle heart that just wants to love and be loved. He can be sensitive in new situations and still finds the world a little overwhelming at times, but with people he trusts, his sweet and loyal nature shines through. Once Flash bonds with you, he is yours for life. Recently, he’s been showing us more of his loving side. On rainy days when we huddle together out of the downpour, he rolls over for belly rubs, brings his toys for attention, and happily drifts off to sleep during a cuddle. It’s in these quiet moments that his true personality comes out, affectionate, trusting, and eager to please. Flash’s training is going from strength to strength. He’s mastered “touch” (booping his nose to your hand) and is now learning “place.” He still gets a little mouthy when he’s overexcited, but he’s come a long way since his arrival and continues to improve with patience and consistency. He’ll need his future family to continue this gentle guidance in the home so he can keep building on all the progress he’s made. Being an active breed, Flash loves his walks and enjoys exploring the world at his own pace. He’s happiest in calm, quiet areas where he can relax and take everything in without feeling rushed. He will need to be the only pet in the home, as he prefers human companionship over other animals, and he’s not a fan of pigeons or seagulls either! Flash has had successful surgery for entropion in both eyes, and though he still needs a little care for mild dermatitis around them. He is currently being treated for sore and sensitive ears. What Flash truly needs now is a calm, understanding, adult-only home with someone who’s around most of the time, someone who can offer him patience, structure, and all the love he deserves. With time and trust, Flash will repay his person a hundred times over with loyalty, affection, and that special spark that makes him so unforgettable. Please don’t overlook this beautiful boy. Flash has come so far and is ready to start the next chapter of his life he’s just waiting for that one person to believe in him and bring him home.
