Si tienes un gran agujero en tu corazón y en tu hogar, ¡Goliath podría ser la adición perfecta! Goliath, llamado así debido a su gran tamaño, es un chico dulce que busca un hogar propio. Al ser encontrado como un perro abandonado, no tenemos historia sobre él, pero creemos que quizás nunca haya vivido en un hogar antes. Le encanta estar con las personas y colocará su cabeza en tus piernas para recibir atención, puede ser un poco reservado al principio, pero pronto se acercará a las nuevas personas y se calmará rápidamente. Es un hermoso gigante gentil que necesitará una familia dispuesta a enseñarle cómo vivir en un hogar y que no se importe en enseñarle a hacer sus necesidades en el lugar adecuado. Puede ser más fácil ayudarle con su entrenamiento en el hogar si tiene su propio jardín, sin embargo esto no es un requisito. Goliath muestra mucha conducta social y amigable hacia otros perros durante los paseos, pero se vuelve un poco nervioso cuando está suelto, aún podría vivir con otro perro, pero creemos que sería mejor tener un perro tranquilo que le enseñe las reglas y le permita ganar confianza, pero también puede vivir como un perro único que podrá socializar durante los paseos. Ha estado mostrando su personalidad cada vez más durante el tiempo que pasa con nosotros y una de sus cosas favoritas son los juguetes suaves, los cuales perseguirá y lanzará al aire. Debido a su naturaleza creemos que sería mejor que viviera con niños de secundaria (12+), los cuales están acostumbrados a perros grandes, ya que aunque sea gentil, cuando gane confianza o esté corriendo con sus juguetes no tomaría mucho para que accidentalmente empujara a niños más pequeños. Es muy orientado a la comida y aún está ganando peso necesario después de estar bastante desnutrido cuando fue encontrado, por lo tanto ha demostrado que puede revisar las encimeras para encontrar algo delicioso que alguien haya dejado para él, así que se necesitará una familia dispuesta a manejar y trabajar en esto. Romeo es un verdadero corazón dulce y francamente un poco payaso... favorito de los caminadores de perros.

If you have a large, long legged shaped hole in your hearts and home then Goliath just may be the perfect addition! Goliath as named due to his mighty size! Is a sweet boy who is looking for a home to call his own, being found as a stray we have no history for him, but we believe he may never have lived in a home before. He loves being with people and will rest his head on your lap for some fuss, he may be a little aloof initially but soon comes up to new people and warms up to you quickly. He is a handsome gentle giant who will need a family willing to teach him how to live in a home and don’t mind teaching him how to be house trained. It may be easier to help him with his house training if her were to have his own garden, however this is not a must. Goliath shows lots of very social and friendly behaviour to dogs on walks but becomes a little nervous when off lead, he may still be able to live with another dog, but we think he would suit a calm dog to teach him the ropes and will allow him to build confidence but he can also live as a solo dog who will be able to socialise on walks. He has been showing his personality increasingly in the time he spends with us and one of his favourite things is soft toys, which he will chase and throw around in the air. Because of his nature we believe he would be best to live with children of Secondary school age (12+), who are used to big dogs as although he is gentle, when he does build confidence or when he is running around with his toys it wouldn’t take much for him to accidentally knock smaller children over. He is very food orientated and is still putting on some much-needed weight after being quite malnourished when he was found, therefore he has shown that he may counter surf to find anything tasty someone may have left for him to find – so a family willing to manage and work on this will be needed.
