Actualización 14.7.2025: Jerry. ¿Qué decir de Jerry? Es uno de los padres fundadores del Proyecto de Refugio Souda. Ha estado allí desde el principio de nuestros tiempos. Es antisocial con las personas. No le gusta que lo toquen en absoluto. Tiene miedo de nosotros. A todos. O al menos así lo creíamos. Ayer tuvo su revisión anual en la veterinaria y el doctor notó que tenía seborrea y recomendó que lo bañáramos con un champú para dermatitis seborreica. ¿Cómo diablos haríamos eso?! ¿Jerry? ¿Contacto? Y sin embargo, mi fantástico equipo lo hizo. ¡Y lo disfrutó con todo su corazón! Jerry ha estado en el refugio durante diez años o más. La gente lo descarta inmediatamente porque ladra y es tímido. Bien, ésta es otra cara de Jerry. Mire la expresión de placer en su rostro. Nunca había recibido este tipo de atención, pensábamos que lo odiaría. Al revés. La expresión en su rostro me hace llorar. ¡Más tratamientos de spa para Jer! Lo amamos y esperamos que alguien lea esta publicación y lo ame igual (quizás incluso más). Por favor, no deje que su vida sea solo tiempo en un refugio. Dese un viejo muchacho una oportunidad y muéstrele algo nuevo, seguro y maravilloso...un hogar. Actualización 14.12.2022: Jerry, un labrador mezcla guapo nacido en abril de 2013. Este buen chico es un alma dulce que se lleva bien con otros animales, pero es bastante cauteloso y temeroso con las personas. Puede acercarse a ellos por un bocadillo, pero aún no se siente cómodo siendo tocado. Jerry necesita un hogar especial con un cuidador experimentado que pueda entender su miedo y ayudarlo a construir confianza y seguridad. Necesita alguien que sea paciente y esté dispuesto a dedicarle tiempo para ayudarlo a superar sus miedos, y que pueda brindarle un entorno seguro y cómodo donde pueda prosperar. Con la guía adecuada, Jerry tiene potencial para convertirse en un compañero cariñoso y fiel. Not much is known about his past, but Jerry is extremely cautious around people. Describtion/Updates/Pictures: Update July 2025: What to say about Jerry? He is one of the founding fathers of the Souda Shelter Project. He’s been there since the beginning of our time. He is anti social with humans. He does not like to be touched at all. He is terrified of us. Everyone. Or at least we thought. Yesterday he had his annual checkup at the vet and the doctor noted that he had seborrhea and recommended that we bathe him with a shampoo for seborrheic dermatitis. How the heck would we do that?! Jerry?! Contact?! And yet, the team did. Jerry has been at the shelter for ten years plus. People immediately dismiss him because he barks and is timid. Well this is the other side of Jerry. He has NEVER gotten this kind of treatment ever, we thought he would hate it. Far from it. To more spa treatments Jerry! We love you and hope someone will see this post and love you the same♥️ (maybe even more). Please don’t let his life amount to time in a shelter. Give this old boy a chance and show him something new, secure and wonderful…a home Update December 2021: This sweet boy is a gentle soul who gets along well with other animals, but he is quite cautious and fearful around people. He may approach them for a treat, but he is not yet comfortable with being touched. Jerry is in need of a special home with an experienced handler who can understand his fear and help him build trust and confidence. He needs someone who is patient and willing to take the time to help him overcome his fears, and who can provide him with a safe and comfortable environment where he can thrive. With the right guidance, Jerry has the potential to become a loving and loyal companion.
