Koko estaba acostumbrada a vivir en un hogar muy activo, creemos que podría beneficiarse de un entorno ligeramente más tranquilo pero estaría muy feliz teniendo a la gente cerca. Sin embargo, está entrenada para estar en una jaula y puede quedarse sola durante unas horas sin problemas. Tipo de su raza, vino a nosotros con algunos problemas de piel que se creía que eran provocados por hormonas. Tras el tratamiento inicial y baños, su piel se mejoró realmente bien y desde entonces no ha sido un problema. Vale la pena saber que como no estamos seguros de la causa raíz, es posible que siempre tenga pequeños problemas de piel. Vino a nosotros con ojo de cereza, hemos realizado la cirugía para resolver los ojos y ha sido castrada. Siempre es recomendable investigar un poco sobre las razas Pocket Bully para entender más sobre ellas. Entendiblemente, durante sus primeros días con nosotros, Koko estaba un poco nerviosa y tímida con las personas nuevas. Sin embargo, desde que salió de su caparazón es una favorita entre el personal (que siempre encuentra tiempo en su día para abrazos en el sofá) y ama hacer nuevos amigos con todas las personas que conoce. Es muy enérgica, siempre tiene la cola moviéndose y se da la vuelta para recibir caricias en el vientre; puede acercarse directamente a tu cara para exigir atención. Tiene una excelente personalidad y sería una gran adición en el hogar adecuado. Koko es dulce, cariñosa, un poco despistada y completamente entretenida. Puede ser un poco reacia a caminar, por lo que se adaptaría mejor a un hogar con un ritmo más lento y paseos suaves. Suelte energía corriendo alrededor de nuestro campo de granja y parece preferir quemar su energía de esa manera, por lo tanto, se beneficiaría enormemente si tienes un espacio exterior para soltarla o un parque o campo cercano. Es un perro de bajo mantenimiento. Creemos que Koko se adaptaría a: – Ser el único animal en el hogar – Niños mayores / experimentados con perros en el hogar – Alguien que busca un perro de baja energía – Una familia que busca a su mejor amigo Koko está vacunada y al día con su tratamiento contra pulgas y gusanos, por lo tanto, tras conocerla y una revisión del hogar con su posible adoptante, está lista para irse a casa. Koko was used to living in a very busy household, we feel she may benefit from a slightly quieter environment but she would be very happy to have people around her. However, she is crate trained and can be left for a few hours without any issues. Typical of her breed, she did come to us with a few skin issues believed to be triggered by hormones. Following initial treatment and baths, her skin cleared up really well and has not been an issue since. It’s worth knowing that as we aren’t sure of the root cause, she may always have minor skin issues. She came to us with cherry eye, we have since operated to get the eyes sorted, and she’s been neutered. It’s always worth doing a bit of research into Pocket Bully breeds to understand more about them. Understandably, during her first few days with us, Koko was a little nervous and hesitant around new people. However, since she has come out of her shell she is a firm favourite among staff (who will always find time in their day for cuddles on the sofa) and adores making new friends with everyone she meets. She is full of beans, always has her tail wagging and rolls over for belly rubs; she can get right in your face to demand a fuss. She has a fantastic personality and would be a great addition in the right home. Koko is sweet, loving, slightly dopey and completely entertaining. She can be a little reluctant to walk so would be suited to a more low pace home with gentle walks. She lets of steam by zooming around our farm field and seems to prefer burning off her energy that way so, she would benefit greatly if you have an outdoor space to let her out to or a nearby park/field. She is a very low-maintenance dog. We believe Koko would be suited to: – Being the only pet in the home – Older / dog-savvy children in the home – Someone who is looking for a low energy dog – A family looking for their best friend Koko is vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worm treatment so following on from meets and a home check with her potential adopter, she is good to go home.
