Lizzie llegó a nosotros desde otro refugio, y creemos que llegó allí como un perro joven. Ahora tiene dos años y, lamentablemente, parece haber sido pasada por alto por las familias interesadas. Lizzie no se impone y es una chica muy tímida y sensible. Cuando llegó por primera vez a Live PAWS, haría cualquier cosa para evitar salir a pasear. Sin embargo, con paciencia y apoyo del personal, gradualmente ganó confianza y ahora está feliz de salir con sus compañeros de jaula, descubriendo y disfrutando de un mundo completamente nuevo. Ella sigue siendo un perro muy reservado. Incluso con el personal que conoce, se puede ver que quiere acercarse, simplemente necesita ese momento de seguridad antes de acercarse. Todo depende de la confianza, y debido a esto estamos buscando a alguien amable y paciente que continúe construyendo su confianza a su propio ritmo. Realmente queremos ver a Lizzie en una casa propia. Debido a su edad y naturaleza dulce, el cuidado temporal también es una opción, con todos sus gastos cubiertos por nosotros. Solo queremos que Lizzie tenga la oportunidad de conocer finalmente el amor y la seguridad de su propia familia.

Lizzie came to us from another refuge, and we believe she arrived there as a young dog. She is now in her twilight years and, sadly, seems to have been overlooked by prospective families. Lizzie doesn’t push herself forward and is quite a timid, sensitive girl. When she first arrived at Live PAWS, she would do anything to avoid going out for walks. However, with patience and support from the staff, she gradually gained confidence and is now happy to head out with her kennel mates, discovering and enjoying a whole new world. She remains a very reserved dog. Even with staff she knows, you can see she wants to approach , she just needs that moment of reassurance before she comes forward. It’s all down to confidence, and because of this we are looking for someone kind and patient who will continue building her trust at her own pace. We would dearly love to see Lizzie in a home of her very own. Because of her age and gentle nature, fostering is also an option, with all her expenses covered by us. All we want for Lizzie is the chance to finally know the love and security of her own family.
