Nala lleva mucho tiempo con nosotros y es muy querida. Gruñe emocionada cuando ve a sus personas favoritas y es increíblemente cariñosa, acurrucándose lo más cerca posible de ti. Tiene tres años y ha pasado casi toda su vida en jaulas, sin conocer realmente lo que significa estar en el centro de una familia amorosa. Nala es muy activa y ama estar afuera, aprendiendo nuevas trampas y perfeccionando las antiguas, y su confianza ha mejorado enormemente gracias a su trabajo duro con su entrenadora Rachel. Esperamos encontrarle una familia que esté tan interesada en el entrenamiento como Nala, y que siga lo que ya ha aprendido. Nala puede ser reactiva con otros perros, pero ha hecho grandes progresos, aprendiendo a observar a otros desde la distancia sin preocuparse demasiado. Prefiere caminar en áreas más tranquilas, pero mediante su entrenamiento le estamos dando las herramientas para manejar cuando se encuentra con otro perro. Es una chica sorprendentemente sensible que vive en una parte del centro donde no hay personas fuera de su jaula, ya que le resulta difícil después de estar aquí tanto tiempo. Cuando conoce a alguien, Nala es simplemente muy dulce y cariñosa y un verdadero placer pasar tiempo con ella. Sentado en un banco con ella en tus rodillas, acariciando su hermosa y suave pelaje es como terapia. Nala ha tenido una vida bastante difícil hasta ahora y realmente merece un futuro más brillante. Nala puede convivir con niños mayores de 16 años y necesita ser el único animal en casa. No tenemos historial sobre ella, por lo que no podemos garantizar que esté entrenada para hacer sus necesidades o acostumbrada a estar sola durante cualquier período de tiempo.

Nala has been with us a long time now and she is much loved. She cries excitedly when she sees her favourite people and is incredibly affectionate, snuggling into you as close as she possibly can. She’s just three years old and has spent almost all her life in kennels, never properly knowing what it’s like to be at the heart of a loving family. Nala is very active and loves to be outside, learning new tricks and perfecting her old ones, and her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to her hard work with her trainer Rachel. We’re hoping to find her a family who will be as interested in training as Nala is, and who will keep up what she’s already learned. Nala can be reactive to other dogs but has made great progress, learning to observe others from a distance without getting too worried. She does prefer walks in quieter areas but through her training we’re giving her the tools to manage when she bumps into another dog. She’s a surprisingly sensitive girl who lives in a part of the centre where she doesn’t have people outside her kennel as she is finding this difficult after being here so long. When she knows someone, Nala is just so sweet and loving and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Sitting on a bench with her on your lap, stroking her beautiful soft fur is like therapy! Nala has had a pretty hard life so far and she really deserves a brighter future. Nala can live with children over 16 and needs to be the only pet at home. We have no history for her so cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to being left by herself for any length of time.
