Personalidad y comportamientoLa vida de Negrão cambió de la noche a la mañana, y no para mejor. Cuando su dueño falleció, en lugar de ser protegido y cuidado, fue arrojado como basura por la familia. De repente solo, confundido y de luto, se encontró en las calles. Los vecinos lo persiguieron y lo echaron. Incluso fue denunciado a la GNR después de correr tras motocicletas, probablemente asustado, desorientado y simplemente no comprendiendo el mundo en el que había sido forzado a estar. Solo y roto en el corazón, Negrão se enfermó muy gravemente. Desarrolló problemas graves en el hígado y se volvió extremadamente delgado, casi esquelético. Su cuerpo estaba dejando de funcionar debido al abandono y el estrés. Afortunadamente, una protectora animal maravillosa intervino y nos pidió ayuda. Negrão necesitaba urgentemente una cirugía para una hernia perineal, la cual se realizó inmediatamente. Y fue entonces cuando realmente comenzó su segunda oportunidad. Negrão ha recorrido un largo camino. Ha ganado peso, se ha recuperado bien de la cirugía y su condición hepática ha mejorado considerablemente. Pero más hermoso que su recuperación física es el regreso de su espíritu. Es un perro profundamente agradecido. Gentil. Amoroso. Afectuoso en silencio. Se puede ver en sus ojos que sabe que fue rescatado. Después de todo lo que ha soportado, Negrão no merece pasar sus últimos años en un refugio. Ha estado con nosotros casi cuatro meses y está listo, verdaderamente listo, para una casa cuidadosa y tranquila donde pueda sentirse seguro y amado nuevamente. Personality & BehaviorNegrão’s life changed overnight, and not for the better.When his owner passed away, instead of being protected and cared for, he was thrown out like rubbish by the family. Suddenly alone, confused, and grieving, he found himself on the streets.Neighbours chased him away. He was even reported to the GNR after running after motorbikes , likely frightened, disoriented, and simply not understanding the world he had been forced into.Alone and heartbroken, Negrão became very, very sick. He developed severe liver problems and became painfully thin, almost skeletal. His body was shutting down from neglect and stress.Thankfully, a wonderful animal protector stepped in and asked us for help. Negrão urgently needed surgery for a perineal hernia, which was carried out immediately.And that’s when his second chance truly began.Negrão has come a long way. He has gained weight, recovered well from surgery, and his liver condition has improved considerably. But more beautiful than his physical recovery is the return of his spirit.He is a deeply grateful dog. Gentle. Loving. Quietly affectionate. You can see in his eyes that he knows he was saved.After everything he has endured, Negrão doesn’t deserve to spend his remaining years in a shelter. He has been with us for almost four months now and is ready , truly ready, for a caring, peaceful home where he can finally feel safe and loved again.
