Percy puede vivir con niños mayores de 10 años. Está buscando un hogar exclusivamente interior. Percy es un excelente chico que ha estado en acogida con un miembro de nuestro equipo durante el último mes. Ha recibido una excelente evaluación durante la acogida, siendo descrito como el chico más dulce que quiere estar con sus humanos la mayor parte del tiempo. Nuestro miembro del equipo ha dicho que tiene el ronroneo más fuerte que ha escuchado alguna vez, se puede oír desde arriba cuando está abajo. Es un chico vocal que charlará contigo para obtener atención. Tan pronto como te sientas cómodo en el sofá o en la cama, él está a tu lado, haciendo movimientos de amasamiento y acurrucándose. Es un chico muy suave que se acurrucará con sus humanos tanto tiempo como pueda. Durante la acogida, nuestro miembro del equipo informó que a veces se preocupa cuando lo dejan solo o si no puede encontrar a sus humanos y dará vueltas y llorará, pero eventualmente se calmará. También es sensible al ruido y puede asustarse con sonidos fuertes o repentinos, por lo tanto sería mejor adecuado para un hogar tranquilo y silencioso. No le importan demasiado los juguetes, pero perseguirá la cuerda. Tiene un buen apetito y ama su comida: no es tímido a la hora de hacer saber cuándo llegan las horas de comer. Se sospecha que Percy tiene visión limitada, aunque no parece afectarlo demasiado, necesitará un hogar comprensivo que pueda atender sus necesidades. Debido a su visión limitada, también requerirá un hogar exclusivamente interior. Percy llegó a nuestro cuidado en bastante mal estado después de que se sospechara que su dueño había fallecido y había estado solo durante un tiempo. Gracias al cuidado y compromiso de nuestro equipo dedicado, especialmente su cuidador de acogida, ha hecho una gran recuperación y ahora está listo para encontrar su perfecto hogar para retirarse. No tenemos dudas de que este encantador chico será una increíble adición para su familia para siempre y devolverá su amor y cariño diez veces más. Percy tiene visión limitada y tiene pérdida muscular en sus patas traseras. Aunque ninguno de estos problemas parece afectarlo actualmente y no se requiere tratamiento en este momento, cualquier posible reubicación debe tener en cuenta que necesitarán monitoreo continuo y, si tuviera algún problema relacionado en el futuro, probablemente se considerarían condiciones preexistentes y no estarían cubiertas por seguros para mascotas. Percy could live with children aged 10+. He is looking for an indoor-only home. Percy is a wonderful chap who has spent the past month on foster with a member of our team. He has had a glowing report whilst on foster, being described as the sweetest boy who wants to be with his humans most of the time! Our team member has said he has the loudest purr she’s ever heard – it can be heard from upstairs when he’s downstairs! He is a vocal boy who will chat away to you for attention. As soon as you make yourself comfortable on the sofa or in bed, he’s right next to you, kneading away and snuggling in. He’s a very gentle lad who will cuddle with his humans for as long as possible! Whilst on foster, our team member has reported that he does become a little worried when left alone / if he can’t find his humans and he will pace around and cry, but he does eventually settle down. He is also quite sensitive to noise and can be spooked by loud or sudden sounds, so he would be best suited to a calm and quiet home. He hasn’t been too fussed by toys, but will chase string. He does have a good appetite and loves his food – he isn’t shy about letting you know when meal times are due! It is suspected that Percy has limited vision – although he doesn’t seem too fazed by this, he will need an understanding home who can cater to his needs. Due to his limited sight, he will also require an indoor-only home. Percy arrived into our care in quite a poor state after it was suspected that his owner had passed away and he’d been alone for a while. Thanks to the care and commitment of our dedicated team, particularly his foster carer, he has made a great recovery and is now ready to find his perfect forever home to retire in. We have no doubt this lovely lad will make an incredible addition to his forever family and will return their love and affection tenfold! Percy has limited vision and has some muscle loss in his hind legs. Whilst neither issue currently seems to be affecting him and no treatment is required at present, any potential rehomers should be aware that they will need ongoing monitoring and, if he were to have any future related issues, these will likely be classed as pre-existing conditions and won’t be covered by pet insurance.
