Pingu es un gran perro pequeño con mucha personalidad. Le encanta acurrucarse para hacer una siesta con sus cuidadores cerca y seguramente sería la sombra de alguien en un entorno doméstico. No ha mostrado mucho interés por los juguetes, pero esperamos que con el tiempo aprenda a disfrutarlos. Le encanta mostrar su hermoso asiento, la pata y la posición de espera por un delicioso premio. Es un alma sensible que ha demostrado ser desconfiado con personas nuevas y movimientos repentinos, por lo tanto amaría una familia que pueda construir su confianza con el tiempo. Pingu está buscando su hogar definitivo con adoptantes pacientes que puedan construir su confianza y tomar las cosas a su propio ritmo. Pingu ha mostrado preocupaciones alrededor de hombres, por lo tanto puede haber un proceso más largo de introducción/adopción si hay hombres en el hogar. Puede ser tímido con el manejo, por lo tanto sería mejor que viva con adolescentes mayores en el hogar que respeten su espacio. Pingu preferiría ser el único perro en el hogar, pero puede tener amigos para pasear. No podría vivir con un gato, pero posiblemente pequeños animales peludos que estén en jaulas. Pingu debe ir a un hogar con un jardín privado y seguro. Una vez establecido, puede quedarse solo hasta 4 horas si se va aumentando lentamente. Pingu tiene algunas consideraciones médicas que se discutirán con nuestro equipo veterinario al hacer una reservación.

Pingu is a great little dog with bundles of character. He loves curling up for a snooze with his handlers close by and would be sure to be someone’s shadow in a home setting. He hasn’t shown lots of interest in toys but we are hoping with time he will learn to find the joy in them. He loves showing off his handsome sit, paw and stay for a tasty treat. He is a sensitive soul who has shown to be wary of new people and sudden movements so would love a family who can build his confidence over time. Pingu is on the search for his forever home with patient adopters who can build his confidence and take things at his own pace. Pingu has shown worries around men- therefore there may be a longer introduction/adoption process if there are men in the home. He can be shy around handling and therefore would be best suited to live with older teenagers in the home who can respect his space. Pingu would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but can have walking friends. He could not live with a cat, but possibly small furries that are caged. Pingu must go to a home with a private and secure garden. Once settled, he can be left for up to 4 hours if built up slowly. Pingu does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.
