Si miramos hacia atrás hoy en día al increíblemente largo tiempo que el macho Shar Pei de raza mixta ya lleva con nosotros en el refugio animal de Calvià, simplemente nos sentimos increíblemente tristes. Pirata está con nosotros desde junio de 2021, ¡incredible 3 1/2 años 😢!. Y antes de eso, estuvo sentado en la Perrera Calvià durante mucho tiempo. Vio a incontables amigos caninos venir y irse, pero nunca tuvo su oportunidad. ¿Por qué? No podemos explicarlo. Pirata tiene ahora 8 años, y así ha pasado más de la mitad de toda su vida en la Perrera y en el refugio animal. Muchas noches frías de invierno, días muy calurosos de verano y un número increíble de horas solitarias. Pirata es un perro muy especial. Probablemente desde el nacimiento tiene una mala visión (todavía ve!) y ser bizco lo hace tan único. En general, le gusta muchísimo la gente y busca contacto y cuidado intensamente, pero también elige a sus personas. Aquí con nosotros tiene varios paseadores y cuidadores regulares, a quienes ama por encima de todo. Y después de cada paseo intenta alargar el tiempo antes de volver al refugio o a su jaula tanto como sea posible. Pirata necesita un hogar tranquilo, sin estrés y estable con personas que le den seguridad y realmente tengan mucho tiempo para él. Quiere complacer a la gente, se puede notar inmediatamente. Y es inteligente y convierte bien y rápidamente las lecciones aprendidas. Por supuesto, uno no debe olvidar que lleva simplemente cargando un tipo de paquete a través de los años largos, y por eso no se deben tener expectativas demasiado altas. Si te involucras con Pirata y le das un poco de tiempo tienes un verdadero gran "amigo" a tu lado con él. Le encantan los paseos y pasar mucho tiempo juntos y por supuesto muchos cariños, no necesita nada más. Pirata ciertamente no es un perro para la ciudad y ya no tiene que aprenderlo más. Debería poder mudarse a un entorno tranquilo, cercano a la naturaleza, tan natural como sea posible con un jardín. No vemos problemas con una perra dominante y social, tal vez le encantaría mucho. A algunos perros les gusta mucho, pero a otros no. Los gatos no deberían estar en su casa. Más de cuatro años en el refugio animal y en la Perrera deberían finalmente terminar.

If we look back today at the incredibly long time the Shar Pey male mixed breed is already sitting with us in the animal shelter in Calvià, we just become incredibly sad. Pirata is with us since June 2021 – incredible 3 1/2 years 😢. And before that he was sitting in the Perrera Calvià for a long time. He saw countless dog buddies come and go – but he never got his chance. Why ? We cannot explain that. Pirata is now 8 years old – and so he has spent more than half of his entire life in Perrera and animal shelter. Many cold winter nights, roaring hot summer days and an incredible number of lonely hours. Pirata is a very special dog. He has, probably since birth, a poor vision (he still sees!) and being cross-eyed makes him so unique. In general, he loves people and is looking for contact and care very intensively – but he also chooses his people. Here with us he has various regular walkers and caregivers, whom he loves over everything. And after every walk he tries to extend the time before returning to the shelter or to his enclosure as long as possible. Pirata needs a quiet, low -stress and stable home with people who give him security and really have a lot of time for him. He wants to please people – you can tell that immediately. And he is smart and converts the lessons learned really well and quickly. Of course, one should not forget that he has simply carrying a kind of package through the long years – and so you shouldn’t face too high expectations. If you get involved in Pirata and give him a little time you have a really great “friend” at your side with him. He loves walks and to spend a lot of time together and of course a lot of cuddles – he doesn’t need much more. Pirata is definitely not a dog for the town and he doesn’t have to learn that anymore. He should be allowed to move into a calmly near – natural break, as natural as possible with a garden. We see no problems with a sovereign and social bitch – maybe he would love it a lot. Some dogs he likes very much, but others not. Cats shouldn’t be in his home. More than four years of animal shelter and Perrera should finally come to an end.
