Pixel no tuvo una vida fácil. Como perro joven, sus orejas fueron cortadas cruelmente por cazadores con la equivocada creencia de que eso lo haría un mejor perro de caza. Cuando eso no funcionó, Pixel fue simplemente descartado. Pero lo que su pasado no logró quitarle es su hermosa naturaleza. Pixel es un chico suave y tierno con un temperamento tranquilo y cariñoso. A pesar de lo que ha vivido, es increíblemente confiado con las personas y ama el contacto humano. Le encanta que le toquen y acaricien las orejas, de hecho, los abrazos son algo que le encanta. Con otros perros, Pixel es no confrontacional y humilde. Si hay una pelea o un momento ruidoso, se retira silenciosamente en lugar de involucrarse. Es el tipo de perro que siempre elige la paz sobre la drama. Pixel sería ideal para un hogar que busque un compañero amable y estable, alguien que valore el cariño, la lealtad y la presencia tranquila más allá del caos de alta energía. No es exigente, no es demandante, simplemente es maravilloso en silencio. Pixel actualmente vive con Gary & Michelle en su hogar en Fleet con otros cuatro perros y visitas frecuentes de otros perros. Pixel sería ideal para un hogar con otro perro con quien pueda ganar seguridad. Pixel ya ha mostrado una increíble resiliencia. Ahora solo necesita un hogar que le muestre la bondad que siempre merecía 💙 La mayoría de nuestros perros fueron encontrados abandonados como cachorros, descartados como camadas no deseadas, como ocurre a menudo en Portugal donde la esterilización no es tan común como en el Reino Unido. Tras el rescate, todos nuestros cachorros pasan tiempo en refugios privados y hogares de acogida, lo que significa que llegan felices, sanos y bien socializados. Pixel’s past wasn’t kind to him. As a young dog, his ears were cruelly cut by hunters in the misguided belief it would make him a better hunting dog. When that failed, Pixel was simply discarded. But what his past didn’t take from him is his beautiful nature. Pixel is a soft, gentle boy with a calm and affectionate temperament. Despite what he has been through, he is incredibly trusting with people and loves human contact. He’s more than happy to have his ears touched and stroked — in fact, cuddles are very much his thing. Around other dogs, Pixel is non-confrontational and unassuming. If there’s a squabble or noisy moment, he quietly removes himself rather than getting involved. He’s the sort of dog who chooses peace over drama every time. Pixel would suit a home looking for a kind, steady companion — someone who values affection, loyalty and a gentle presence over high-energy chaos. He’s not pushy, not demanding, just quietly wonderful. Pixel is currently living with Gary & Michelle in their home in Fleet with four other dogs and frequent doggy visitors. Pixel would suit a home with another dog who he could build his confidence with. Pixel has already shown incredible resilience. Now all he needs is a home that will show him the kindness he’s always deserved 💙 Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK.
