Ahora en Los Infiernos Sandy ha sido diagnosticado con Leishmania que puede controlarse con una pastilla económica diaria. Informe de voluntaria de Fina 25 de diciembre: Sandy es compañero de Milly, y también ha hecho grandes avances. Ahora va de paseo, y en verano eran los únicos dos que no dejaban que nadie los tocase debido a su Leishmania y sus miedos. Sería un sueño hacerle encontrar un hogar después de tantos años. Se lleva bien con perros y gatos, camina muy lentamente y obedece todo. Es muy sumiso. Sandy ignora a los gatos - video disponible bajo petición. Pupdate 06/02/26: Sandy. Está muy asustado en su jaula pero una vez fuera es maravilloso. Camina muy bien en la correa y le encanta conocer a otros perros. No hay problema con los gatos y solo quería jugar con Tess cuando la conoció. Pupdate de la voluntaria Ruth 07/02/26: Sandy. Es un robo de corazón. Está ganando confianza y ahora disfruta sus paseos. Está muy atraído por otros perros y todos los perros que conoció lo quisieron y él los quiso. Tan pronto como ve un perro mueve su cola muy larga. Cuando regresó a su jaula su actitud cambió y se escondió en una esquina mirando aterrado. Es muy triste, odia estar allí. Comentarios de voluntaria 11/02/26: Sandy es un perro encantador que camina bien pero muy nervioso y no le gusta que le toquen la cabeza, se estremece pobre chico. Now at Los Infiernos Sandy has been diagnosed with Leishmania which can be controlled with an inexpensive tablet daily. Volunteer report from Fina December 25: Sandy is Milly's companion, and he has also made great progress. Walks very well on the lead and loves meeting other dogs. No problem with cats and just wanted to play with Tess when he met her. Pupdate from volunteer Ruth 07/02/26: Sandy. He’s a heart stealer. He is gaining confidence and is enjoying his walks now. He is very drawn to other dogs and all the dogs he met liked him and he liked them. As soon as he sees a dog he wags his very long tail. When he went back into his kennel his demeanor changed and he hid in a corner looking petrified. It’s very sad, he hates being in there.
