Sky es un husky de edad avanzada que está viviendo una vida excelente en uno de nuestros maravillosos hogares de acogida. Le encanta conocer a la gente y se acerca a ellos de la manera más suave, y aún disfruta mucho de sus paseos, aunque ahora camina un poco más lento debido a cierta artrosis. Sky pasa mucho tiempo en la cocina por elección propia, y sería agradable que pudiera elegir su propio lugar en su nuevo hogar, y no le importa estar sola durante unas horas. De hecho, apenas levanta la cabeza cuando sus padres de acogida se van y solo se mueve al regresar si han ido de compras a buscar comida. Sky es muy tranquila con otros perros y a veces se muestra un poco juguetona. Nos encantaría rehacerla con otro perro tranquilo que esté contento de dejarla en paz y no la moleste demasiado, pero sabemos que tiene ojo para gatos o pequeños animales peludos, así que no es recomendable. Sky es una mujer mayor muy dulce que ama la vida, y ama una breve sesión de saltos en el jardín justo después de sus abluciones matutinas. Sky puede convivir con otro perro tranquilo, pero no con otros animales, y cualquier niño deberá tener más de 14 años ya que es una chica mayor. Está perfectamente entrenada para usar la casa y puede estar sola durante unas cuatro horas sin preocupaciones. Sky tiene 12 años y toma medicación diaria por dolor de cadera relacionado con la edad, y necesitará sesiones de cuidado diarias cortas.

Sky is a sensational senior Husky who's living the high life in one of our wonderful foster homes. She loves to meet people and approaches them in the most gentle way, and still very much enjoys her walks, though she's a little slower these days due to some arthritis. Sky spends a lot of time in the kitchen by choice, and it would be nice if she could choose her own spot in her new home, and she doesn't mind being left by herself for a few hours. In fact, she barely lifts her head when her foster parents leave and only shifts herself upon their return if they've been food shopping! Sky is very calm around other dogs and occasionally gets a little playful. We would happily rehome her with another calm dog that is happy to leave her be and not mither her too much, but we know that she does have an eye for cats or small furries so it's a no to those. Sky is such a sweet older gal who loves life, and she loves a brief jumping session in the garden straight after her morning ablutions! Sky can live with another quiet dog but no other pets, and any children will need to be over 14 as she's an older girl now. She is perfectly house trained and can be left alone for four hours or so without worry. 12 year old Sky is on daily medication for age related hip pain, and will need short grooming sessions daily.
