Sonny es un lurcher macho, aproximadamente de 3 años de edad. Sonny llevó una vida de abandono hasta que fue confiscado por el guardamurallas y luego llegó a nosotros a través del centro de acopio del condado. Está ciego en un ojo, una antigua lesión no tratada que ahora no puede curarse. Sin embargo, se las arregla bien con ello y no le causa ninguna irritación. Sonny es un perro feliz, dulce y fácil que ama a otros perros y es muy suave con las personas. Sería lo mejor para Sonny que lo rehospedaran con otro perro, ya que realmente disfruta estar con ellos. De hecho, Sonny entró en nuestro cuidado con Glow, fueron confiscados del mismo hogar, pasaron por el Centro de Acopio juntos y ahora con nosotros comparten una jaula. Están muy unidos, pero es difícil enough rehospedar a un lurcher, mucho menos a un par. Ciertamente alguien dispuesto a considerar un par - Sonny y Glow (su foto está abajo) tendría las vidas más felices juntos en un hogar amoroso y serían fáciles. No hay mucho que decir sobre Sonny: le encanta la cama, le encantan los premios, le encantan los paseos y es muy suave con la correa. Como muchos lurchers, es capaz de escalar vallas y muros, así que esperamos un jardín seguro para él. De lo contrario, una casa rural en un paisaje tranquilo podría funcionar si los propietarios toman un enfoque de sentido común durante las primeras semanas. Los niños de 8 años en adelante estarían bien con Sonny.

Sonny is a male lurcher, approximately 3 years of age. Sonny led a life of neglect until being seized by the dog warden and then came to us via the county pound. He is blind in one eye, an old, untreated injury that is now beyond repair. He copes fine with it though and it causes him no irritation. Sonny is a happy, sweet, easy dog who loves other dogs and is very gentle around humans. It would be best for Sonny to be rehomed with another dog, he really loves being with them. In fact, Sonny came into our care with Glow – they were seized from the same home, went through the Pound together and now with us they share a kennel. They are very bonded but it is hard enough to rehome one lurcher, not to mind a pair! Certainly anyone willing to consider a pair – Sonny and Glow (her pic is below) would have the happiest lives together in a loving home – and they would be easy! There is very little to say about Sonny – he loves bed, loves treats, loves walks and is very gentle on the lead. Like a lot of lurchers he is able to scale fences and walls so we are hoping for a secure garden for him. Otherwise a rural home in quiet countryside may work if the owners take a common sense approach for the first few weeks. Children 8+ would be fine for Sonny.
