La pareja ideal para Tawny sería alguien muy paciente y comprensivo ya que puede ser indecisa al principio. Es un placer trabajar con ella y requerirá un cuidador que quiera continuar desarrollando su confianza y ayudarla a calmar sus preocupaciones. Tawny está dispuesta a probar nuevas cosas cuando haya construido un vínculo contigo y tiene mucho amor para dar. Compañía en Establo/Refugio Forraje y Alimento Pies y Dientes Vicios Veterinario y Medicación Compañía en Establo/Refugio: Actualmente vive fuera 24/7 con acceso a refugio, anteriormente vivió en un sistema de pista. Se establará con amigos al alcance pero se preocupa si queda sola. En los meses más fríos lleva una manta. Compañía: Le gusta una amiga que no sea demasiado exigente y le de espacio propio cuando lo solicite. Forraje/Alimento: Tawny recibe heno cuando está en el establo o cuando la hierba es escasa. Está en pastoreo restringido para gestionar adecuadamente su peso. Si se necesita alimento en invierno, debe dejarse sola con él ya que puede volverse protectora con la comida. Say hello to Tawny! Tawny is a 14 year old, 11hh, liver chestnut, Welsh, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion. Tawny’s perfect match would be someone who is very patient and understanding as Tawny can be unsure to begin with. She is rewarding to work with, and will require a fosterer who wants to continue growing her confidence and working to help calm her worries. Tawny is willing to try new things when she has built a bond with you and has a lot of love to give. Stabling/Shelter Companionship Forage & Feed Feet & Teeth Vices Vet & Medication Stabling/Shelter: Currently lives out 24/7 with access to shelter, has previously lived on a track system. She will stable with friends in sight but gets worried if left alone. In the colder months, she wears a rug. Companionship: She likes a friend who is not too pushy and allows her to have her own space when she asks for it. Forage/Feed: Tawny receives hay when in the stable or when grazing becomes sparse. She is on restricted grazing to appropriately manage her weight. If a feed is needed in winter, she must be left alone with it as she can become protective around food. Medication: N/A Farrier: Barefoot, trimmed 6 weekly. Tawny would benefit from an understanding farrier who can take their time and be patient with her as she can become worried when introduced to a new farrier.
