Durante los primeros dos años de su vida vivió atada al exterior, con nada más que lodo y un barril de metal como refugio. Cuando su salud empeoró y su piel quedó gravemente dañada, sus dueños la llevaron al veterinario para terminar con su vida en lugar de ayudarla. Afortunadamente, el veterinario se negó a abandonarla. Con tratamiento, cuidado y paciencia, la piel y el pelaje de Vucka ya están mejorando y su naturaleza dulce comienza a brillar. Vucka is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd mix who is only now discovering what kindness feels like. For the first two years of her life she lived chained outside with nothing but mud and a metal barrel for shelter. When her health deteriorated and her skin became badly damaged, her owners took her to the vet to have her life ended instead of helping her. Thankfully, the vet refused to give up on her. With treatment, care, and patience, Vucka’s skin and coat are already improving and her gentle nature is beginning to shine through. Despite everything she has been through, she is a sweet and kind girl who simply wants safety, warmth, and someone to love. Vucka is still very young and has her whole life ahead of her. She is looking for a calm, loving home where she will never be abandoned again.
