Noggin the Nog2016 | Piebald | Gypsy Cob | Alle 14,2 hhNoggin on ollut kanssamme hänen pelastuksestaan alkuvuussa 2017 ja on nyt täysin kelpo 'Loanie Pony' toimintamme mukaan. Olimme onnekkaita löytäessämme hienon perheen, jossa kolme lasta huolehtivat hänen kaikista tarpeistaan. Tarina tähän asti... Nogginin erityistapaus sai kaikkien sydämen kiinni. Suuri määrä vilkkaan ruohotuskin hirviä antoi meille kaikille huolenaiheita ja vaikka teimme ponnistuksia tilanteen ratkaisemiseksi, ponit alkoivat kuolla paikalla. Siksi RSPCA päätettiin ottaa koko ryhmä haltuun, koska kaikki olivat suuressa riskissä. Pyydystys meni hyvin, mutta kiitos viimehetkellä tehdyn päätöksen tehdä lopullinen kierros kentällä RSPCA:n pääinspektorin mukaan tehtiin vakava löytö. Melkein näkymätön mudan meressä Mark löysi sen näköisen kuolleen nuoren. Noggin the Nog2016 | Piebald | Gypsy Cob | Under 14.2hhNoggin has been with us since his rescue in early 2017 and is now a fully fledged ‘Loanie Pony’ on our scheme.We were fortunate to find a lovely family where all three children attend to his every need.The story so far...Noggin’s particular case, captured everyone’s heart. A large group of fly grazing horses were giving us all cause for concern and despite efforts to resolve the situation, ponies began to die at the site. The decision was therefore made by the RSPCA to seize the entire group, as they were all considered to be at great risk.The round up went well but thanks to a last-minute decision to make a final sweep of the field by the RSPCA’s Chief Inspector, a grim discovery was made. Almost invisible in a sea of mud, Mark found what looked like the remains of a dead youngster.The pictures here go some way to show the horror of the situation and the subsequent rescue which meant that ‘Noggin the Nog’ deservedly lived to fight another day.Noggin was perhaps understandably very grumpy and sour in the early days of his recovery, but quickly developed into a sweet, loving pony adored by everyone who meets him.He spent time wi
