Noggin the Nog2016 | Piebald | Gypsy Cob | Sotto 14,2hhNoggin è con noi dal suo salvataggio all'inizio del 2017 ed è ora un pony 'Loanie' a tutti gli effetti nel nostro programma. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare una bella famiglia dove tutti e tre i bambini si occupano delle sue esigenze.La storia fino ad oggi...Il caso particolare di Noggin ha conquistato il cuore di tutti. Un grande gruppo di cavalli che brucavano le mosche ci dava molti problemi e nonostante gli sforzi per risolvere la situazione, i pony iniziarono a morire sul posto. È quindi stato deciso dall'RSPCA di sequestrare l'intero gruppo, poiché tutti erano considerati a grande rischio.Il raid è andato bene ma grazie a una decisione all'ultimo momento fatta dal Capo Ispettore dell'RSPCA di effettuare un'ultima ispezione nel campo, fu fatta una triste scoperta. Praticamente invisibile in mezzo al fango, Mark trovò ciò che sembrava il resto di un piccolo morto.Le foto qui mostrano in parte l'orrore della situazione e il successivo soccorso che permise a 'Noggin the Nog' di vivere un altro giorno.Noggin era forse comprensibilmente molto arrabbiato e malinconico nei primi giorni della sua ripresa, ma rapidamente si sviluppò in un pony dolce e amabile amato da tutti quelli che lo incontrano. Noggin the Nog2016 | Piebald | Gypsy Cob | Under 14.2hhNoggin has been with us since his rescue in early 2017 and is now a fully fledged ‘Loanie Pony’ on our scheme.We were fortunate to find a lovely family where all three children attend to his every need.The story so far...Noggin’s particular case, captured everyone’s heart. A large group of fly grazing horses were giving us all cause for concern and despite efforts to resolve the situation, ponies began to die at the site. The decision was therefore made by the RSPCA to seize the entire group, as they were all considered to be at great risk.The round up went well but thanks to a last-minute decision to make a final sweep of the field by the RSPCA’s Chief Inspector, a grim discovery was made. Almost invisible in a sea of mud, Mark found what looked like the remains of a dead youngster.The pictures here go some way to show the horror of the situation and the subsequent rescue which meant that ‘Noggin the Nog’ deservedly lived to fight another day.Noggin was perhaps understandably very grumpy and sour in the early days of his recovery, but quickly developed into a sweet, loving pony adored by everyone who meets him.He spent time wi
