Vanha mies Ollie tarvitsee joitain lääkinnällisiä huolenpiteitä ja on tällä hetkellä painonhallintaretkellä, jotta hän voisi tunnistaa oloa helpompana. Hän on koteihin harjoiteltu ja on tyytyväinen jäämään yksin muutaman tunnin ajan, vaikka suosittelemme että tätä kasvattamme vähitellen kun hän sopeutuu uuteen ympäristöön. Ollie voi käyttäytyä äkillisesti ahdistuneena kävelyillä ja hän pitää enemmän hiljaisista reiteistä, joissa hän ei tarvitse huolehtia muita koiria. Tämän vuoksi hän tarvitsee olla ainoa petti uudessa kotinsa. Ollie voi olla epävarma vieraiden kanssa, joten turvallinen, hiljainen paikka vetäytymiseen auttaa häntä tuntemaan itsensä turvallisesti. Hän on asunut lapsien kanssa aiemmin, ja uskomme, että hän sopii parhaiten rauhallisten, ymmärtävien lapsien 12+ ikäisten perheiden kanssa, jotka arvostavat hänen suosimansa hiljaisen elämän.

As an older boy, Ollie does have some medical needs and is currently on a weight loss journey to help him feel more comfortable. It's important that this is continued in his forever home. Ollie is housetrained and content being left for a couple of hours. Whilst he might not be a spring chicken anymore, he still has so much love to give and would thrive with a family looking for a gentle and relaxed companion. Ollie enjoys fuss and attention and would flourish in a peaceful retirement home he truly deserves. Meet handsome Ollie, a 15 year old Border Collie who has found himself back in our care for no fault of his own. He's looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can spend his days playing with his favourite toys, gentle adventures and afternoon snoozes in front of the TV. Ollie can become anxious when out on walks and much prefers quiet routes where he doesn’t have to worry about encountering other dogs, but would be equally happy with just a garden to potter around in. Because of this, he’ll need to be the only pet in his new home. As an older, gentle boy Ollie would like a home with upper primary aged children who can understand when he needs some peace and quiet to relax on his own.
