Come un anziano ragazzo, Ollie ha alcune esigenze mediche e al momento è in una dieta per perdere peso per aiutarlo a sentirsi più comodo. È importante che questa continui nel suo nuovo casa definitiva. Il nostro team qui al centro sarebbe felice di discutere le esigenze di Ollie con la sua nuova famiglia. Ollie è un bel 15enne Border Collie che è tornato al nostro recupero senza colpa sua. Sta attualmente godendo dei comfort di una casa di accoglienza, dove si sta abituando bene a una routine piacevole. Come un anziano gentiluomo, Ollie ora cerca una casa tranquilla per la sua pensione, dove può trascorrere le sue giornate giocando con i suoi giocattoli nel giardino e godendosi sonnellini rilassati davanti alla TV. È addestrato in casa e contento di essere lasciato per un paio d'ore, anche se consigliamo di aumentare gradualmente questo tempo mentre si abitua al suo nuovo ambiente. Ollie può diventare ansioso durante le passeggiate e preferisce itinerari tranquilli dove non deve preoccuparsi di incontrare altri cani. Per questo motivo, dovrà essere l'unico animale domestico nella sua nuova casa. Ollie può sentirsi incerto intorno a visitatori sconosciuti, quindi avere uno spazio sicuro e tranquillo dove ritirarsi lo aiuterà a sentirsi sicuro. Ha vissuto con bambini prima, e crediamo che sia meglio adatto a famiglie con bambini calmi e comprensivi di età 12+ che possono apprezzare la sua preferenza per una vita tranquilla.

As an older boy, Ollie does have some medical needs and is currently on a weight loss journey to help him feel more comfortable. It's important that this is continued in his forever home. Whilst he might not be a spring chicken anymore, he still has so much love to give and would thrive with a family looking for a gentle and relaxed companion. Ollie enjoys fuss from his trusted friends and would flourish in a peaceful retirement home he truly deserves. Meet handsome Ollie, a 15 year old Border Collie who has found himself back in our care for no fault of his own. He's looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can spend his days playing with his favourite toys, gentle adventures and afternoon snoozes in front of the TV. Despite his age, Ollie still enjoys his walkies but these are now at a slower pace than they were. He’s housetrained and content being left for a couple of hours. Ollie can become anxious when out on walks and much prefers quiet routes where he doesn’t have to worry about encountering other dogs. Because of this, he’ll need to be the only pet in his new home. As an older, gentle boy Ollie would like a home with secondary aged children who can understand when he needs some peace and quiet to relax on his own.
